NAVY

Westinghouse Electric Corp., (now operating as Westinghouse Electric Co., a division of CBS Inc.), Machinery Apparatus Operations, Schenectady, N.Y., is executing a $70,795,997 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4053 for naval nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corp., Great Neck, N.Y., is being awarded a $70,004,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, fixed-price incentive contract to provide FY 99 U.S. and U.K. TRIDENT II (D5) navigation subsystem production and engineering services requirements. Work will be performed in Great Neck, N.Y., and is expected to be completed in May 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $46,679,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-98-C-0005)

  • Boeing Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $23,160,584 firm-fixed-price time and materials contract to provide sustained contractor logistics support for the
  • E-6B aircraft. Work will be performed in Oklahoma City, Okla. (27%); Seattle, Wash. (19%); Fairfield, Calif. (14%); Patuxent River, Md. (10%); Omaha, Neb. (9%); Jacksonville, Fla. (4%); Waco, Texas (1%); and Midwest City, Okla. (16%); and is expected to be completed in September 1999. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-99-C-0016).

ARMY

DynCorp Aerospace Technology, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded $244,943 (base year total) as part of a $120,014,745 (total if all options are exercised) cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-award-fee, and fixed-price contract for the maintenance of Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) Afloat. The responsibility for maintenance of APS will continue while afloat and during

handoff in deployed contingency situations. This contract award covers a transition and contains 10 single-year evaluated options available through FY 2009, for a total estimated value of $120,014,745 over the life of the contract. Work will be performed in Asia, S.C. (Goose Creek County), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2009. Of the total contract funds $244,943 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement in the Commerce Business Daily/World Wide Web on July 23, 1998, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions & Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill. (DAAA09-99-C-0004).
