NAVY

Westinghouse Electric Corp., (a division of CBS Inc.), Plant Apparatus Div., Pittsburgh, Pa., is executing a $118,283,703 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for naval nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. General Dynamics Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $52,651,249 cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for the FY 99 fire control omnibus contract which includes fire control production, operational support, field engineering services and repair and return effort. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed September 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $15,873,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Druck Inc., New Fairfield, Conn., is being awarded a $7,581,360 delivery order against a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of 248 air data test sets and associated data. These sets are common support equipment used to test avionics equipment found on a variety of Navy aircraft. Work will be performed in New Fairfield, Conn. (60%), and Groby, Leicester, United Kingdom (40%), and is expected to be completed in February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 94 proposals solicited and eight offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity
