TRICARE MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY

Meridian Resource Corporation of Waukesha, WI, is being awarded a $6,763,463 fixed-price contract to perform claims review assistance services. This contract provides for a basic one-year period and four one-year option periods. Proposals were solicited from 48 offerors, and two proposals were received. The TRICARE Management Activity, Aurora, Colo., is the contracting activity (MDA906-99-D-0001).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Hunt Refining Co., Tuscaloosa, Ala., is being awarded a $7,010,186 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for jet fuel, JP-8. Three hundred thirty-six proposals were solicited and 19 were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-0467).

Diamond Shamrock Refining Co., L.P., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $27,415,409 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for jet fuel, JP-8. Three hundred thirty-six proposals were solicited and 19 were received. Work will be performed in Three Rivers, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-0468).

Fina Oil and Chemical Company, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $29,675,700 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for jet fuel, JP-8. Three hundred thirty-six proposals were solicited and 19 were received. Work will be performed in Big Spring, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2000. AGE Refining, Inc., San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $19,232,235 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for jet fuel, JP-8. Three hundred thirty-six proposals were solicited and 19 were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. Exxon Company USA, Houston, Texas, is being awarded a $5,244,228 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment for jet fuel, JP-8. Twelve proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Baytown, Texas, and Pasadena, Texas, and is expected to be completed by April 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. NAVY

Druck Inc., New Fairfield, Conn., is being awarded a $5,934,222 delivery order against a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to procure 189 air data test sets and associated data. These sets are common support equipment used to test avionics equipment found on a variety of Navy aircraft. Work will be performed in New Fairfield, Conn. (60%), and Groby, Leicester, United Kingdom (40%), and is expected to be completed by August 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 94 proposals solicited and eight offers received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Div., Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-97-D-0274).

ARMY

NOVA Group Inc., Napa, Calif., is being awarded a $13,677,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide 14,500 square meters of additional apron, construct a new 2,400 GPM pump house and two 10,000 barrel fuel storage tanks, install 19 fuel hydrant outlets and associated piping, and miscellaneous asphalt and concrete road work. Work will be performed at McChord AFB, Wash., and is expected to be completed by July 20, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 179 bids solicited on Nov. 2, 1998, and eight bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle, Wash. (DACA67-99-C-0017).

NAN Inc., dba Ocean House Builders, Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded an $8,277,057 firm-fixed-price contract for the renovation of Building 202, Fort DeRussy, to accommodate the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS). Renovation includes construction of interior partitions; replacement/installation of suspended ceiling; replacement of floor covering; replacement/upgrade of air conditioning and heating, ventilation and air conditioning system; reroofing; replacement/installation/upgrade of plumbing and fixtures; replacement/installation/upgrade of electrical system/service, power panels, light fixtures, receptacles, conduits and wiring; installation of wet pipe sprinkler system with addressable fire alarm system; interior and exterior painting; vehicular drop off; and landscaping with irrigation

system. Work will be performed at Fort DeRussy, Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by May 28, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 18 bids solicited on Jan. 15, 1999, and six bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Shafter, Hawaii. (DACA83-99-C-0006).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

Inter-National Research Institute, Inc., Reston, Va. is being awarded a $47,499,999 single cost-plus-award fee, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract to provide the technical support in producing Version 4.0 and future versions of the Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE). The estimated amount for the base year is $14,327,843. The initial period of performance is 12 months, with two optional 12-month periods for a total of three years. This is a follow-on for a contract ending on Feb. 28, 1999, and a sole source procurement. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, National Capital Region, is the contracting activity (DCA100-99-D-4000).

AIR FORCE

Nichols Research Corp., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $12,427,361 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for a Regatta computer system in support of the Major Shared Resource Center, Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. Expected contract completion date is April 30, 2001. Negotiation completion date was Feb. 17, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (DAHC94-96-C-0005-P00075).

Lockheed Martin Western Development Laboratories, San Jose, Calif., was awarded on Feb. 26, 1999, a $13,291,449 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for upgraded operational switches for eight Air Force Satellite Control Network sites. These switches distribute communication between remote tracking stations and control nodes. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2000. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96-C-0018-P00051).

TRW, Inc., Redondo Beach, Calif., was awarded on Feb. 26, 1999, a $12,669,147 face value increase to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for engineering services and technical assistance through September 1999 in support of Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., and Air Force Space Command. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 1999. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42610-95-C-0043-P00091).
