DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Drug Company, Orange, Calif., is being awarded an estimated $10,022,264 firm-fixed price modified-requirements contract for pharmaceuticals under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred thirty-eight proposals were solicited, and three were received. Work will be performed in Honolulu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by April 16, 2000. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-95-D-7014).

ARMY

Raytheon Systems Company Radar & Communications Systems, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $45,995,309 firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-ee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for 24 Sentinel Antenna Transceiver Group (ATG) Systems, initial spare/repair parts, associated logistics services, interim contractor support, fielding, on-call tech support, engineering service, travel and e-commerce. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (10%) and Forest, Mississippi (90%), and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 9, 1998. The U. S. Army Aviation & Missile Command (AMCOM), Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity. (DAAH01-99-C-0085)

Caterpillar Inc., Mossville, Ill., is being awarded a firm fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with an estimated total of $15,000,000 to provide spare and repair parts to the field in support of the fleet to Caterpillar vehicles and equipment in the government's inventory. Work will be performed in Mossville, Ill and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2004. This is a sole source contract initiated on February 5, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM), Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity. (DAAE07-00-D-9006)

Burchick Construction Co., Inc., is being awarded a $21,326,000 base year total with cumulative total of $23,996,000 firm fixed price contract to design and construct a new Army Reserve Complex in Allegheny County, containing a 12,370 square meter training center, a 1,486 square meter organizational maintenance shop (OMS/Administrative Support Activity),

a 279 square meter unheated storage facility with a 9,755 square meter military equipment park, a 8,826 square meter deployable medical system training site, and supporting roads to serve as headquarters of the 99th Reserve Support Command and 339th Hospital Battalion. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is expected to be completed by May 1, 2001. There were 97 bids solicited on Oct. 23, 1998, and 11 bids received. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity. (DACA27-99-C-0024)

AIR FORCE

ORION International Technologies, Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $9,900,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for simulation, computational and intelligence services, and technical advisory support to identify, formulate, and strengthen the headquarters USAF/XON technical position in counterproliferation system concept development and the nuclear weapon system life cycle and life extension life processes. There were 15 firms solicited and five proposals received. Expected contract completion date is March 2004. Solicitation began December 1998; negotiations were completed April 1999. At this time, $435,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Force Research Laboratory, Kirtland AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F29601-99-D-0146).

Raytheon Co., Goleta, Calif. is being awarded a $6,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for the AN/ALE-50(V) Production Lot 3 Towed Decoy Acceleration (1509 each) in support of Operation Allied Force. At this time, $4,875,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96/C-0036, P00020)

Knowledge Based Systems, College Station, Texas, is being awarded a $5,734,699 cost-share contract to support the Lean Value Chain for the Critical Parts Procurement Program. There were six proposals received. Solicitation began June 1998; negotiations were completed March 1999. At this time, $1,000,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-98/C-5168).
