DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Refinery Associates of Texas*, New Braunfels, Texas, is being awarded a $17,359,356 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for aviation turbine fuel, JP8. Twenty-seven proposals were solicited, and five were received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-0489).

Ssangyong (U.S.A.) Inc., Paramus, N.J., is being awarded an $11,764,818 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for naval distillate fuel, F76. Twelve proposals were solicited, and six were received. Work will be performed in overseas locations and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 1999. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-D-0491).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Systems Company, Fort Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a $24,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for various quantities of components for the AN/GRC-206(V)4G communication system applicable to a range of ground vehicles, including the High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle and the M113 Armed Personnel Carrier. This effort includes support services, site survey, installation services, technical support and data. This effort supports foreign military sales to Greece and Jordan. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is ten each per month starting 12 to 14 months after receipt of order. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 6, 1998. Negotiation completion date was Dec. 9, 1998. Sacramento Air Logistics Center, McClellan AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04606-99-D-0018).

Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems, Syosset, N.Y., was awarded on April 30, 1999 a $14,020,613 face value increase to a fixed-price-incentive contract to provide for 87 AVQ-37 Steerable Television Systems, associated data, and warranty, applicable to the B-52H aircraft. Expected contract completion date is 12 to 24 months after exercise of option. This is a modification to an existing contract. Therefore no solicitation date was issued. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-96-C-0522-P00006).

NAVY

Tidewater Construction Corp., Virginia Beach, Va., is being awarded a $38,159,365 firm-fixed-price, plus award-fee contract for the construction of an interconnecting crane rail system and an oily waste collection transfer system at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. This contract contains options which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $38,399,790. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 60 proposals solicited and three offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-98-C-8042).

Marconi Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $9,598,391 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide engineering services and system integration support to Strategic Systems Programs associated with the development and construction of United Kingdom (U.K.) SSBNs with Trident missile capability and in-service Vanguard Class Trident II (D-5) strategic weapon system. Work will be performed in Rockville, Md., and is expected to be completed by March 2000. Contract funds are 100% U.K. and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00030-99-C-0050).

Riley Construction Company, Inc., Waukegan, Ill., is being awarded a $6,470,939 firm-fixed-price design/build contract for the design and construction of a Navy Exchange shopping fleet store at Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Ill. Work will be performed in Great Lakes, Ill., and is expected to be completed by April 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with five proposals solicited and four offers received. The Engineering Field Activity Midwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Great Lakes, Ill., is the contracting activity (N68950-98-C-0162).
