NAVY

EG&G Optoelectronics, Miamisburg, Ohio, is being awarded a $15,930,400 firm-fixed-price contract, with options, for MK 21 MOD 1 initiators in support of the Standard missile program. Work will be performed in Miamisburg, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by September 2003. Approximately 50% of the funding will be under Foreign Military Sales. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through a Commerce Business Daily announcement, and three offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity(N00178-99-C-5214).

ARMY

Radian, Alexandria, Va., is being awarded four not-to-exceed $9,375,000 level of effort (LOE) and firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts for technical, engineering, logistics and program management support. Work will involve a minimum of 800 LOE hours per contract * up to a maximum of 398,154 LOE hours (appropriation number and dollar value will be determine with each delivery order). Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 16, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a broad agency announcement on the World Wide Web on Feb. 11, 1999, and 13 offers were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-99-D-S008).

Allied-Signal, Inc., Tempe, Ariz., is being awarded a $5,118,430 firm-fixed-price contract for 42 turbine to be used on the T55 engine for the CH47 helicopter. Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by Nov. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 16, 1999. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (N00383-95-G-M120).

Allied Signal Engines, Phoenix, Ariz., is being awarded $57,122,897 (obligated amount) of a cumulative total of a $183,420,049 (not to exceed) firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable contract. This is to exercise an option for T65-L to T55-GA-714A engine upgrade and associated spare parts for 73 CH-47D helicopters. Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz. (60%), and Greer, S.C., and is expected to be completed by March 15, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 25, 1999. The contracting activity is U. S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH23-99-C-0094).

CIVIL WORKS - NON-MILITARY

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc., Columbus, Ohio, is being awarded $600,000 as part of a $5,082,152 (cumulative total) firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a lift station, sanitary force main, storm drainage fixtures, and manholes on the Scioto River in Columbus, Ohio. Work will be performed in Columbus, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by June 16,

2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a broad agency announcement in the Commerce Daily on March 15, 1999, and two were received. The contracting activity is the U. S. Army Engineering District, Huntington, W. Va. (DACW69-99-C-0015).
