NAVY

Raytheon Aerospace Company, Madison, Miss., is being awarded a $26,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the maintenance and logistics support of the Navy's fleet of 117 Bell Jet Ranger helicopters, which are used for pilot training by the Chief of Naval Air Training. Work will be performed in Milton, Fla. (98%) and Patuxent River, Md. (2%), and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic request for proposals and five offers were received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-99-D-1625).

Delphinus Engineering, Inc.,* Eddystone, Pa., is being awarded a ceiling amount $15,509,091 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, time and materials contract for CDNET computer operations and maintenance support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. Work will be performed in Bethesda, Md., and is expected to be completed by July 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under the Small Business Set-Aside program. The Naval Surface Weapons Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-99-D-0076).

ARMY

United Defense Ground Systems Division, York, Pa., is being awarded a $5,000,000 increment as part of a $5,034,999 modification to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAE07-94-C-0456, to provide funding for engineering services and for partial exercise of the priced option for 300 level-of-effort engineering hours, under the Bradley A3 Upgrade Program Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract. Work will be performed in York, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $34,999 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 15, 1997. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Knight's Armament Co.*, Vero Beach, Fla., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $5,827,916, as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAE20-97-D-0020, for 8,000 adapter rails, weapon mounted, M5; 12,000 adapter rails, weapon mounted, M4; and 4,320 brackets, quick release, M203, all in support of the Modular Weapon System. Work will be performed in Vero Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 38 bids solicited on Dec. 20, 1994, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sopakco Packaging, Mullins, S.C., is being awarded a $5,026,809 firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity contract for mixed fruit, peaches, pears, and pineapples. Twenty-six proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in South Carolina and is expected to be completed by Jan. 15, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-Z121).
