NAVY

Newport News Shipbuilding, Newport News, Va., is being awarded a $24,436,410 firm-fixed-price, performance-fee contract for USS Gettysburg (CG 64) regular overhaul which includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modification which update and improve the ship's military and technical capabilities. Work will be performed in Newport News, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $347,420 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet with four proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8019).

Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydocking Corp., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $20,880,064 firm-fixed-price, performance-fee contract for USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) regular overhaul which includes the planning and execution of depot-level maintenance, alterations, and modification which update and improve the ship's military and technical capabilities. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2000. Contract funds in the amount of $285,870 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet with four proposals solicited and four offers received. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-92-H-8045).

Couch Construction, L.P., Milton, Fla., is being awarded a maximum amount of $10,861,635, with a guaranteed minimum of $100,000.00, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract providing all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision needed to install new asphalt and concrete pavement, repair existing asphalt and concrete pavement, and incidental related work at the Pensacola Naval Complex. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the cumulative value of this contract to $58,977,560. Work will be performed in Pensacola, Fla. (99%), Milton, Fla. (1%), and is expected to be completed by August 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with fourteen proposals solicited and two offers received. The Resident Officer in Charge of Contracts, Naval Facilities Engineering Command Field Office, Pensacola, Fla., is the contracting activity (N62467-99-D-3148).

AIR FORCE

ATAP Inc., Eastaboga, Ala., is being awarded a $5,241,870 fixed-price-requirements contract to provide for overhaul of 60 (best estimated quantity) aircraft refueler tank truck vehicles from Aug. 2, 1999 to Aug. 1, 2000. There were 19 firms solicited and three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Aug. 1, 2000. Solicitation issue date was Sep. 21, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 30, 1999. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-99-D-0327).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

FUJI, Stamford, Conn., is being awarded a $50,000,000 indefinite-quantity contract for x-ray systems, subsystems and components. Nineteen proposals were solicited and 19 were received. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 4, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia. Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-8059).
