ARMY

Raytheon Systems Co., Fort Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a $500,000 increment as part of a $47,379,304 (base year total) cost-plus-award-fee/time and materials/firm-fixed-price contract, with a cumulative total of $160,000,000 if all options are included, for the development of the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) Software versions 02-04. AFATDS is a multi-service (Army and Marine Corps) integrated battlefield management and decision support system which satisfies the Fire Support Command and Control (C2) requirements and the close, rear, and deep operational requirements generated by Force XXI and evolving Joint Operations. Work will be performed in Fort Wayne, Ind., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 19, 1999. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-99-C-E003).

NAVY

Dell Marketing L.P., Round Rock, Texas, is being awarded a $24,124,213 GSA schedule order option exercise for lease of laptop and workstation computers to meet Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet shore requirements. Work will be performed in Round Rock, Texas, and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under GSA Schedule procedures and seven offers were received. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk, Detachment Philadelphia, Penn., is the contracting activity (N00140-99-F-4653).

Dell Marketing L.P., Round Rock, Texas, is being awarded a $10,704,737 GSA schedule order option exercise for lease of laptop and workstation computers to meet Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet afloat requirements. Work will be performed in Round Rock, Texas, and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured under GSA Schedule procedures and seven offers were received. Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $7,325,054, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing for an engineering support services contract for the formulation, design, development, prototyping and evaluation of new technology for programs using sensors, image processing, communications, information, and control system. This contract contains options, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $38,399,667. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 71 proposals solicited and two offers were received. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-99-D-8622).

AIR FORCE

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $10,000,130 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 7508 Second Stage Vanes applicable to the F100PW220 engine on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 30, 2000 for the first 2300; Nov. 30, 2000 for the next 2300; Dec. 30, 2000 for the next 2300; and Jan. 30, 2001 for the last 608. Solicitation issue date was Aug. 10, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Sept. 7, 1999. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F34601-98-G-0005-SALX).
