DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Caribbean Needle Point, Inc.**, Penuelas, Puerto Rico, is being awarded an estimated maximum $8,008,041 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery contract for woodland camouflage enhanced hot weather coats. Forty-six proposals were solicited and four were received. Work will be performed in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, and Ricon, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed by March 8, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO100-96-D-0350).

EA Industries, Inc.**, San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, is being awarded an estimated maximum $15,278,910 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity, indefinite-delivery contract for woodland camouflage enhanced hot weather coats. Forty-six proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by March 8, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. NAVY

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Plant Apparatus Division, Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a $198,061,627 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-4004 for nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is expected to be completed by January 2009. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No additional information is provided on Naval nuclear propulsion efforts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Plant Apparatus Division, Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a $121,466,390 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-4006 for nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Machine Apparatus Operation, Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $89,000,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-4053 for nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No additional information is provided on Naval nuclear propulsion efforts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Hughes Space and Communications Company, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $27,300,000 fixed-price option modification to previously awarded contract N00039-88-0300 for the Navy's eleventh satellite (F11) in the UHF Follow-On communications satellite constellation. The satellites in the UHF F/O constellation help satisfy the Defense Department worldwide satellite communication requirements for Ultra High Frequency and Extremely High Frequency radio communications. Satellites in the geosynchronous orbital constellation include Ultra High Frequency (F1-F10), Extremely High Frequency (F4-F10), Super High Frequency (F1-F7) and Global Broadcast Service (F8-F10) capability. These systems include protected fleet broadcast to all navy ships plus command and control networks to selected aircraft, ships, submarines and ground forces. This modification contains 12 options, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract modification to $213,286,790. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif., and various other locations yet to be determined, and is expected to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.

Marconi Systems Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $12,876,239 cost-plus-award-fee, level-of-effort option exercise for 321,984 man-hours to perform program management support services for AEGIS combat system (ACS) upgrades in the development phase and for production engineering services directly related to the production, installation and testing of the ACS in support of the Program Executive Office for Theater Surface Combatants. With the exercise of this option, the total cumulative value of this contract is $61,266,144. Work will be performed in Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-5180).
