ARMY

Canadian Commercial Corp., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is being awarded a five-year-requirements contract (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order), with a cumulative total of $78,600,000. The first delivery order is for the purchase of an M1062A1 Fuel Tanker Semi-trailer, with a capacity of 9,200 gallons. Work will be performed in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and is expected to be completed by May 17, 2004. There were 21 bids solicited on May 27, 1999, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-D-S002).

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $9,198,156 cost-only contract for long lead materials for the Egyptian co-production of 100 M1A1 Abrams Tank Kits. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., and is expected to be completed by March 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 1, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-00-C-N001).

NAVY

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Machinery Apparatus Operations, Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $100,500,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4052 for nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No additional information is provided on Naval nuclear propulsion efforts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Bechtel Plant Machinery Inc., Plant Apparatus Division, Pittsburgh, Pa., is being awarded a $65,993,932 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-96-C-4050 for nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. No additional information is provided on Naval nuclear propulsion efforts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

CPU Technology, Inc., Pleasanton, Calif., is being awarded a $45,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for the study, development and fabrication of prototype replacement computer processors under the compatible processor upgrade program (CPUP). The mission of CPUP is to provide a solution for computer processor obsolescence which is found across many of the Navy's weapons system hardware platforms. Work will be performed in Pleasanton, Calif, and is expected to be completed by September 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet with one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (N00167-00-D-0012).

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Company, El Segundo, California, is entering into a $5,162,542 cooperative agreement with the Air Force, F33615-00-2-2008, to provide for research and development of power management distribution conditioning and thermal management technologies for space based radar. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 19, 2003. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded awarded a $46,173,000 modification to previously awarded contract F34601-97-C-0001-P00055, to provide for two Group A re-engining kits for the RC-135 aircraft, associated engineering, and data; and six re-engining kit installations (two for RC-135, two for KC-135A, and one for KC-135E). The two installations for the KC-135A support foreign military sales to Singapore. Expected contract completion date is Feb. 7, 2001. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, OK, is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Air BP, Warrenville, Ill., is being awarded a $5,474,946 fixed-price-with-economic-price-adjustment contract for jet A-1 fuel without FSII. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2002. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SPO600-00-D-0016).
