ARMY

Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $1,224,328 increment as part of a $5,080,667 cost-share contract for a 42-month low-cost Precision Kill 2.75 inch Guided Rocket Advanced Technology demonstration. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by May 15, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 19 bids solicited on July 7, 1999, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-C-R002).

Marconi Aerospace Defense Systems Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $1,399,782 increment as part of a $6,909,808 cost-share contract for a 42-month low-cost Precision Kill 2.75 inch Guided Rocket Advanced Technology demonstration. Work will be performed in Austin, Texas, and is expected to be completed by May 15, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 19 bids solicited on July 7, 1999, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH01-00-C-R003).

NAVY

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $54,705,960 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-4039 to exercise an option to provide for the manufacture, testing and delivery of one production main propulsion unit for the fourth Virginia class submarine. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Eagle Systems, Inc., California, Md.; and Advanced Engineering & Research Associates, Inc., Arlington, Va., are being awarded a multiple award cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order contract. The contracts being awarded are for engineering, technical, administrative, operational, maintenance, repair, and calibration support services for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's Propulsion and Power Department. Eagle Systems, Inc., is being awarded a base year amount of $5,150,790 and Advanced Engineering & Research Associates, Inc., is being awarded

a base year amount of $4,674,037. Work will be perform in California, Md.; Patuxent River, Md.; and Arlington, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. These contracts were competitively procured by a multiple award electronic request for proposals; 26 proposals were solicited and two offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-00-C-0154 and N00421-00-C-0151).

RF Microsystems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $6,342,104 indefinite-delivery, cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing contract for test and engineering services pertaining to satellite communications. The systems and subsystems involved may consist of voice, data, and video communication systems that are primarily responsible for establishing, maintaining, monitoring and controlling the link at commercial band frequencies, as well as super high frequency, ultra-high frequency and extremely high frequency. This contract contains two one-year options, which, if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $10,766,843. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by November 2002. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the Commerce Business Daily and the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Business Opportunities Home Page on the Internet and one offer was received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-00-D-5016).

Booz-Allen & Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $5,370,188 cost-plus-fixed-fee service contract to provide scientific, engineering, and technical services to support Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. The support services include planning, monitoring, evaluation, assessment, and documentation of the Special Project Office advanced technology program. Work will be performed in McLean, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured via the internet and two offers were received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-00-C-0004).

AIR FORCE

Teledyne Continental Motors, Toledo, Ohio, is being awarded $43,900,000 cost plus fixed fee contract, F33657-99-D-0057, to provide for technical services in support of the Component Improvement Program from CY 2000-2014 for the J69 engine supporting the T-37 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is December 31, 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, is the contracting activity.

Teledyne Ryan Aeronautical Company, San Diego, California, is being awarded a $13,600,000 modification to a firm fixed price contract, F08626-99-C-0140 P00004, to provide for 32 BQM-34 sub-scale aerial targets. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 2002. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, is the contracting activity.

TRW Systems and Information group, Sunnyvale, California, is being awarded a $6,954,754 modification to a cost plus award fee, F33657-97-C-4505, P00010, to provide for development of upgraded configurations for the BUS Interface Module and the Band 1/5 Converter supporting the Joint Signal Intelligence Avionics programs High band Subsystem Demonstration Unit. Expected contract completion date is November 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH, is the contracting activity.
