NAVY

Raytheon Corporation, El Segundo, Calif., is being awarded a $200,251,988 firm-fixed-price order against a previously awarded basic ordering agreement. This order is for the procurement of 71 F/A-18 AN/APG-73 radar units for the Royal Australian Air Force and 40 F/A-18 AN/APG-73 radar kits for the U.S. Navy (19) and U.S. Marine Corps (21). Work will be performed in Forest, Miss. (45%), El Segundo, Calif. (35%), Andover, Mass. (11 %); Dallas, Texas (8%); and Newport Beach, Calif. (1%) and is expected to be completed by October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (14.12%); U.S. Marine Corps (15.59%); and the government of Australia (70.29%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-001A).

Acepex Management Corp.*, Glendale, Calif., is being awarded a $6,258,109 indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-priced contract for housing maintenance and repair services for approximately 351 housing units at Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach Detachment Concord. Work will be performed in Concord, Calif., and is expected to be completed by February 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 26 proposals solicited and six offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southwest Division, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68711-00-D-0512).

AIR FORCE

Chugach Eareckson Support Services, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $7,161,467 (Estimated) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for operations, maintenance, and support services at Eareckson Air Station, Alaska, from Jan. 14, 2000 through Sept. 30, 2000. There were 25 firms solicited and three proposals received. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2000. Solicitation issue date was May 12, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 29, 1999. The 3rd Contracting Squadron, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, is the contracting activity (F65501-00-C0005).

Raytheon Aircraft Company, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded an $11,262,522 option to a fixed-price-incentive contract, F33657-94-C-0006-P00129, to provide for one Operational Flight Trainer, two Instrument Flight Trainers, and two Unit Training Devices in support of the Joint Primary Aircraft Trainer System (JPATS) Ground Based Training System. Expected contract completion date is August 2001. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
