ARMY

LOGICON Advanced Technology, San Pedro, Calif., was awarded a $17,508,947 modification to cost-plus-award-fee contract DNA001-98-C-0138 on Jan. 26, 2000. The contractor shall provide support to the Director of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Advanced Systems and Concepts Office in the review of on-going and future study efforts, coordination of study participants evaluation of study results, recommendations of research thrusts and planning for future studies. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 28, 1999. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

John C. Grimberg Company, Incorporated, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $5,320,915 firm-fixed price, indefinite-quantity contract for heating, ventilation and air conditioning repairs/replacement of 540,000 square foot in a five building complex at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences, Bethesda. Work will be performed in Bethesda, Md., and is expected to be completed by February 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 33 proposals solicited and six offers received. The Engineering Field Activity Chesapeake, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity (N62477-00-D-0038).

AIR FORCE

Veridian Engineering Inc., New York, N.Y., is being awarded a $14,032,000 (Not-to-Exceed) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for Elector-Optic Threat Warning Development program. This effort will develop passive countermeasures covering the visible, infrared, and ultraviolet electromagnetic spectrum, concentrating on threat detection, identification, and warning. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders obligating funds up to the maximum value indicated above, though actual requirements may fall short of that amount. Expected contract completion date is May 11, 2006. Solicitation issue date was Sept. 13, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Jan. 25, 2000. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-99-D-1501).

Computer Sciences Raytheon, Patrick AFB, Fla., is being awarded a $31,541,500 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for range technical services from April through September 2000 (orientation March 2000) for operation, maintenance, and sustainment of launch facilities and processing systems supporting the 45th Space Wing. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2002. Solicitation issue date was May 28, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Jan. 31, 2000. The 45th Contracting Squadron, Patrick AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08650-00-C-0005).

Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, Mass., was awarded on Feb. 1, 2000 a $17,078,786 fixed-price-incentive-firm contract to provide for long lead materials to support production of 300 CBU-97C/S Sensor Fuzed Weapons. Expected contract completion date is March 31, 2002. Negotiation completion date was Jan. 27, 2000. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-00-C-0009).
