DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Labatt Food Service*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $13,700,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite quantity contract for full-line food distribution. One hundred sixty-eight proposals were solicited and five were received. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas, and is expected to be completed by March 9, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO300-00-D-2925).

ARMY

General Dynamics Communication Systems, Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $5,396,022 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-94-C-N853, for 354 units of commercial off-the-shelf TS-21 Blackjack Mobile Fax machines including image-servers and cables manufactured by Cryptec Secure Communications, a requirement for active Army units. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 5, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 18, 2000. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

Raytheon Aerospace Company, Madison, Miss., is being awarded a $45,973,040 requirements contract for the total aircraft maintenance and logistical life cycle support for all Navy and Marine Corps C-12 aircraft. Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps Air Stations within the United States as well as in Japan, Bahrain, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Spain and England, and is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through an electronic request for proposals and only one offer was received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-D-0272).

Research Triangle Institute, Research Triangle Park, N.C., is being awarded a $5,050,000 modification to previously awarded contract N61339-95-C-0015 for the design, refurbishment, documentation, fabrication, integration, testing, manufacture, delivery and installation of the M1A2 system enhancement package maintenance training systems. Work will be performed in Research Triangle Park, N.C. (60%) and Daytona, Fla. (40%), and is expected to be completed by November 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla. is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Aerospace Co., Madison, Miss., is being awarded a $7,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for contractor logistics support from April - September 2000 for the C-12 aircraft. There was one proposal received. The work is expected to be completed September 2000. Solicitation issue date was October 1999; negotiations were completed January 2000. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker AFB, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-00/C-0111).

United Technologies Corp., West Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $16,916,843 basic-ordering-agreement-order to provide for 12,701 Second Stage Turbine Stator Vane Assemblies in support of the F100 PW 200 engine on the F-16 aircraft. Approximately 2 percent of this effort supports foreign military sales to the Netherlands, Norway, and Saudi Arabia. There were seven firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation issue date was June 1998; negotiations were completed January 2000. The work is expected to be completed March 2001. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas is the contracting activity (F34601-98/G-0005 SAUS).

United Technologies Corp., Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $10,792,912 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for repair and overhaul of ten stators applicable to the F100 PW 100/220 engines on the F-15 and F-16 aircraft. The stator, located in the core of the engine, is part of the compressor assembly. It facilitates the movement of air through the engine, from the intake, through the exhaust. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation issue date was June 1999; negotiations were completed January 2000. The work is expected to be completed February 2002. San Antonio Air Logistics Center, Kelly AFB, Texas is the contracting activity (F34601-00/D-0078).

Marconi Flight Systems, Mojave, Calif., is being awarded a $9,104,252 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for twelve QF-4 Full Scale Aerial Targets. The work is expected to be completed May 2002. Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, Fla., is the contracting activity F08626-98/C-0012.
