ARMY

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., is being awarded a $6,150,000 delivery order amount as part of cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAE20-97-G-0002, for maintenance and support services in support of the M93 Fox NBC Tactical Vehicle. Work will be performed at various locations worldwide and is expected to be completed by Sept. 25, 2000. Of the total contract funds, $6,150,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on July 13, 1999. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill. is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

The Boeing Co., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $12,285,602 modification to a time-and-materials contract to provide for retrofit of fifteen C-17 aircraft with the Global Air Traffic Management (GATM) system. The work is expected to be completed November 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97/C-0008, P00087).

Core6 Solutions, San Antonio, Texas; Karta Technologies, Inc., San Antonio, Texas; and Science Applications International Corp., San Antonio, Texas are being awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contracts totaling $300,000,000. Each contractor will participate in the Combined Mission Support (CMS) program through February 2005 for the 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks AFB, Texas and other Air Force, Department of Defense and federal organizations. This endeavor will include communications and computer infrastructure support and development; medical system support, consultation, and testing; conference preparation and facilitation; training development; international program management support; and environmental compliance support. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. At this time, $10,000,000 has been obligated for each of the three contractors. There were 230 firms solicited and nine proposals received. Solicitation issue date was September 1999. The work is expected to be completed February 2005. NAVY

Caterpillar, Inc., Mossville, Ill., is being awarded a $9,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract for repair parts in support of the rigid inflatable boat engine/propulsion systems. Work will be performed in Mossville, Ill., and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Kamewa America Inc., St. Rose, La., is being awarded a $9,500,000 firm-fixed-price contract for repair parts in support of the MK V special operations craft and rigid inflatable boat waterjet propulsion systems. Work will be performed in St. Rose, La., and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Outboard Marine Corp., Waukegan, Ill., is being awarded a $9,500,000 firm-fixed-price requirements contract to procure repair parts in support of patrol boat engine/propulsion systems. Work will be performed in Waukegan, Ill., and is expected to be completed by February 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Detroit Diesel Corp., Canton, Ohio, is being awarded a $9,500,000 firm-fixed-price requirements contract to procure repair parts in support of MK V special operations craft engines and waterjet systems. Work will be performed in Canton, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by February 2005. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Sparton Defense Electronics, DeLeon Springs, Fla., is being awarded a $9,071,497 firm-fixed-price, split award contract to provide 9,239 AN/SSQ-62E sonobuoys and associated data. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs, Fla, and is expected to be completed by February 2002. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year. Raytheon Systems Company, Tucson, Ariz, is being awarded an $8,650,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-C-5425 for design agent engineering of the close-in weapon system program. A quantity of 18,668 man-hours are being procured on the base contract. This contract contains options which, if exercised, would bring the total contract value to $10,550,000. The work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $8,390,500 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. C-Cubed Corp., Springfield, Va., is being awarded a $7,698,670 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-97-C-1009 to exercise an option for technical and engineering support services in support of shipboard electronic and communication systems. This contract will provide an estimated level of effort of 194,000 man-hours of effort. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md. (90%) and St. Inigoes, Md. (10%), and is expected to be completed by March 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Undersea Sensor Systems Inc., Columbia City, Ind., is being awarded a $5,622,359 firm-fixed-price, split award contract to provide 6,041 AN/SSQ-62E sonobuoys and associated data. Work will be performed in Columbia City, Ind., and is expected to be completed by February 2002. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year.
