Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $137,428,278 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-93-C-0006 for the design, development, fabrication, and testing of the CV-22 pre-planned product improvements for the Air Force Special Operations. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50%); Fort Worth, Texas (35%); and Amarillo, Texas (15%); and is expected to be completed by February 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
Foster Wheeler Environmental Corp., Livingston, N.J., is being awarded a cost-plus-award-fee indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for multi-contaminant remedial action services at environmentally contaminated sites located at Navy and Marine Corps installations and other government agencies. The total contract amount is not to exceed $125,000,000 (base period and four option years). A guaranteed minimum of $500,000 will be provided for the base period and each option year. Work will be performed at various states under the cognizance of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Northern Division including R.I. (24%), Mass. (13%), Maine (13%), Pa. (11%), N.Y. (10%), Conn. (6%) and N.J. (3 %). The additional 20% of the work will be done in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Delaware as well as federal clients outside the Northern Division geographic area. This was a competitively negotiated procurement issued on an unrestricted basis with 63 proposals solicited and four offers received. Cubic Defense Systems Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a potential cumulative value of $18,712,200 for production of the ARS-6 Personnel Locator Set. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Feb. 27, 2004. The contract performance period is for five years and individual delivery orders will be issued against the contract during this period.
