NAVY

A & T, Inc., Engineering Technology Center, Mystic, Conn., is being awarded a $49,199,134 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, completion contract to provide specialized scientific, engineering, and technical services in structural acoustics, acoustic imaging technology, computational mechanics and material development directed towards research, development, test and evaluation for submarine and surface ship programs. Work will be performed in Mystic, Conn. (60%); Arlington, Va. (30%); and West Bethesda, Md. (10%); and is expected to be completed by March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procurement via the Internet with one offer received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, West Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity. (N00167-00-D-0047)

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $31,436,000 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-97-C-0136 to incorporate airframe and ancillary equipment engineering change proposals into the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo. (60%) and El Segundo, Calif. (40%) and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $21,618,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Indra Sistemas, Madrid, Spain, is being awarded a $7,889,955 firm-fixed-price contract to upgrade three F-14D Trainer Suites. This award is for the base year and to exercise 6 options available under the contract. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (90%) and Madrid, Spain (10%), and is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by an electronic request for proposals and 3 offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, Calif., is the contracting activity (N68936-00-C-0001).

ARMY

General Dynamics Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $27,270,507 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-94-C-N853, to exercise options for common hardware/software items for Project Manager, Army Tactical Command & Control Systems computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005. Of the total contract funds, $321,614 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1994, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

Hardaway Construction Corp. of Tennessee, Henderson, Ky., is being awarded a $19,978,000 increment as part of a $29,497,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of the DISCOM Barracks Complex, Phase 2B/2C. Work will be performed at Fort Campbell, Ky., and is expected to be completed by March 17, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 198 bids solicited on Nov. 18, 1999, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACA27-00-C-0061).

MTS Technologies Inc., Arlington, Va., is being awarded a $50,000 delivery order amount as part of a potential $27,321,591 time and materials/task order contract for supplemental program support to the Product Manager for Mortar Systems. Work will be performed at Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., and is expected to be completed by March 27, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 28 bids solicited on Nov. 10, 2000, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Picatinny Arsenal, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAE30-00-D-1006).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Lankford-Sysco Food Services, Inc., Pocomoke City, Md., is being awarded an estimated $25,100,000 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for food and beverage support under the Prime Vendor program. One hundred forty-one proposals were solicited and five were received. Work is expected to be completed by June 3, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-00-D-2978).

American Home Products Corp., Wayne, Pa., is being awarded a $5,596,450 firm-fixed-price contract for the influenza virus vaccine. Fifteen proposals were solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Marietta, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 15, 2000. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-00-C-0004).

AIR FORCE

American Renovation and Construction Co., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $11,147,704 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for renovation of 78 units of military family housing at Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. The work is expected to be completed February 2002. The 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C., is the contracting activity (F31610-00/CC003).
