ARMY

Boeing Defense and Space Group, Helicopter Division, Ridley Park, Pa., is being awarded $13,470,802 as part of a $363,770,802 firm-fixed-price contract for concurrent spare parts to support nine International Model CH-47SD Chinook Helicopters. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 11, 1999. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala. (DAAH23-00-C-0044).

ITT Industries, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded $21,009,794 as part of a $63,000,000 firm-fixed-price/firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustments/time and materials contract for a Replacement Defense Satellite Communications System Frequency Division Multiple Access Control System (RDFCS). The contractor will fabricate and test four Strategic Network Control Terminals, two Strategic Standalone Network Terminals, two Strategic Integrated Network Terminals and initial and pipeline spares; options for production units along with options for de-installation and installation, post production depot support, post production technical services, post production software support and the transition of the software development environment. Work will be performed in Colorado Springs, Colo., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the Business Opportunity Page on April 7, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-00-C-A261).

Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $157,052 increment as part of an $11,131,439 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide contract support services for daily operations in the areas of: Requirements Management, Systems Management, and Plans and Administration for the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Central Imagery Tasking Office. Work will be performed at various locations in the continental United States, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 74 bids solicited on Jan. 10, 2000, and two bids were received. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency, Bethesda, Md., is the contracting activity (NMA301-00-C-0001).

Knight's Armament Co.*, Vero Beach, Fla., is being awarded a $5,157,912 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAE20-97-D-0020, for the following: 8,000 M5 Adapter Rails, 10,000 M4 Adapter Rails, and 1,827 M203 Quick Release Brackets, all in support of the Modular Weapon System. Work will be performed in Vero Beach, Fla., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 38 bids solicited on Dec. 20, 1994, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Raytheon Aircraft Company, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $101,225,378 option to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for low rate initial production of 40 T-6A Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) aircraft, Engine Structural Integrity Program test support for 40 engines, operational site activation at Vance AFB, Okla., technical manual updates, and data. Expected contract completion date is April 2003. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-94-C-0006-P00160).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., was awarded on June 20, 2000 a $21,090,309 option to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for eight APG-63(V)1 fire control radar systems and associated spares applicable to the F-15 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 31, 2002. Solicitation issue date was May 14, 1998. Negotiation completion date was June 24, 1999. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98-C-0012-P00005).

JAYCOR, Inc., San Diego, Calif., was awarded on June 20, 2000 a $13,900,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for replacement and improvement of the radio frequency databus infrastructure on the United States Space Command and United States Transportation Command Mobile Consolidated Command Centers. Expected contract completion date is 36 months from contract commencement date. Solicitation issue date was March 15, 2000. Negotiation completion date was May 30, 2000. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-00-C-0014).

Military Construction Corp., Orange Park, Fla., was awarded on June 20, 2000 a $7,560,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for alteration of and construction of an addition to the commissary at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Ga. There were 36 firms solicited and four proposals received. Expected contract completion date is December 2001. Solicitation issue date was May 25, 2000. Negotiation completion date was June 20, 2000. Air Education and Training Command Contracting Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-00-C-0406).

NAVY

Data Link Solutions, a Limited Liability Company, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $49,301,632 firm-fixed-price option exercise for the U.S. Air Force Multifunctional Information Distribution System - Fighter Data Link (MIDS-FDL) program. This option exercise is for the production of 168 active Air Force production terminals, 82 Air National Guard production terminals, 2 Talon Gateway Project terminals and 20 MIDS-FDL production spares terminals and MIDS-FDL pilot production warranty. The terminals will provide Air Force F-15 aircraft with Link 16 capable terminals that are secure and provide navigation and identification capabilities. Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (50%) and Wayne, N.J. (50 %), and is expected to be completed by April 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $3,625,120 will expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The base contract was competitively awarded with two offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N00039-96-C-0038).

Rockwell Collins Government Systems, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $14,812,816 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-00-C-0115 to exercise an option for 332 AN/ARC-210(V) Electronic Protection Radio Systems (96 RT-1556B/ARC, 6 RT-1803, 50 RT-1824C/ARC, and 180 RT-1794(C)/ARC radios and various ancillary equipment) for the U.S. Army (1 RT-1794(C)/ARC), the U.S. Air Force (2 RT-1556B/ARC and 178 RT-1794(C)/ARC), and the U.S. Navy (94 RT-1556B/ARC, 1 RT-1794(C)/ARC, 6 RT-1803, and 50 RT-1824C/ARC). Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (80%) and Coralville, Iowa (20%), and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $49,571 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Sauer, Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., is being awarded a $9,612,837 firm-fixed-price task order under a multiple award design build order contract for design and construction of interior and exterior renovations in 200 family housing units at the Ribault Bay Housing area at Naval Station, Mayport. Work will be performed in Mayport, Fla., and is expected to be completed by October 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 50 proposals solicited, 19 offers received and award made to multiple contractors on 25 June 1999. The three contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Two proposals were received for this task order. The basic total contract amount is not to exceed $200,000,000 (base period and three option years). The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity (N62467-98-D-0672).
