DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sysco Food Services of Seattle, Kent, Wash., is being awarded an estimated $9,267,600 firm-fixed-price-indefinite-quantity contract for full line food service. Twenty-four proposals were solicited and three were received. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 27, 2001, and will be performed in the Anchorage and Fairbanks areas of Alaska. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-00-D-2988).

Shamrock Foods Company, Commerce City, Colo., is being awarded a $9,170,625 firm-fixed-price-indefinite-quantity contract for Prime Vendor food and beverage support. Ninety-six proposals were solicited and four were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 15, 2001, and will be performed in Colorado and Wyoming. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-00-D-2942).

Bergen Brunswig Medical Corporation, Orange, Calif., is being awarded an $18,173,000 requirements contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Kapolei, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by July 18, 2001. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-96-D-7126).

NAVY

Progeny Systems Corp.,* Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $7,150,384 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-00-C-6226 to exercise an option for a quality of life at sea study that includes the design and development of a multi-media system and berthing area mock-up as well as a tactical e-mail image server. Work will be performed at Manassas, Va. and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Alan L. Bender, Inc., West Sacramento, Calif., is being awarded a $5,709,297 firm-fixed-price contract for design and construction of a war readiness materials warehouse at Travis Air Force Base. Work will be performed in Fairfield, Calif., and is expected to be completed by November 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 15 proposals solicited and four offers received. The Engineering Field Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, Calif., is the contracting activity (N62474-99-C-6098).

Raytheon Engineers and Constructors, Inc., Englewood, Colo., is being awarded a $5,453,287 firm fixed price contract to design, build, outfit and start-up a Continuous Processing Facility located at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division. This facility will be used to develop energetic materials. Work will be performed in Indian Head, Md., and is expected to be completed by February 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-00-C-0039).
