NAVY

Raytheon Systems Company, Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence Data Systems, St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $17,558,120 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-99-C-5116 to exercise an option for two cooperative engagement capability dual antennas (Aegis configuration). Work will be performed in St. Petersburg/Largo, Fla. (85%) and Dallas, Texas (15%), and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

Smith's Industries, Product Support North America, Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded a $13,704,599 indefinite delivery contract for spares support for the Stores Management Upgrade of the F/A-18 aircraft. The more than 286 spares being procured include signal processors, converter monitors, and circuit card assemblies. This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $16,320,366. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla., and is expected to be completed by July 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-00-D-101D).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Imperial Sales*, Watsonville, Calif., is being awarded an $11,139,564 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for tray pack rations. Ninety-eight proposals were solicited and eleven were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 27, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-Z207).

Mil-Ray Food Co.*, Sicklerville, N.J., is being awarded a $7,607,658 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity contract for tray pack rations. Ninety-eight proposals were solicited and eleven were received. Work is expected to be completed by July 27, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-99-D-Z208).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

GE American Communications, Inc., Princeton, NJ, is today being awarded a firm fixed-price contract to provide one 8MB commercial broadcast satellite circuit from Thule AFB, Greenland, to Schriever AFB, CO, and Onizuka AS, CA, in support of the Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN). The total life-cycle cost of contract is $8,616,458 for an estimated service life of sixty months. Competitive procedures were the basis for award by utilizing the Defense Information Systems Agency Contracting Opportunities web site. One quote was received in response to this solicitation. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott AFB, Illinois is the contracting activity (DCA200-93-H-0038).
