ARMY

Nuna Contractors Inc.*, Anchorage, Alaska, was awarded on July 11, 2000, a $12,932,000 as part of a $14,736,916 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a Combined Support Maintenance Shop/Mobilization and Training Equipment Shop. Work will be performed at the Alaska Army National Guard Site, Fort Richardson, Anchorage, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 2, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 23, 2000. The U.S. Army National Guard Bureau, Fort Richardson, Alaska, is the contracting activity (DAHA51-00-C-0003).

Schauer Construction Co. Inc.*, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded $6,376,000 as part of a $6,453,000 firm-fixed-price contract to design/build Project FY2000, military construction of an Air Force Fire/Crash Rescue Station. Work will be performed at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 bids solicited on April 24, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tacoma, Wash., is the contracting activity (DACA45-00-C-0015).

Oshkosh Truck Corp., Oshkosh, Wis., is being awarded a $5,743,757 delivery amount as part of firm-fixed-price contract DAAE07-97-D-X010, for Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks - Load Handling Systems (HEMTT LHS) as follows: 33 HEMTT LHS with winch, 9 HEMTT LHS without winch, and HEMTT first article tests support at Aberdeen Test Center, Md. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wis., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 28, 1997. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $5,849,756 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-97-C-1460 to exercise an option for technical and engineering services for the integration and testing of radio communications systems for shipboard installation. The estimated level of effort for this option is 122,770 man-hours. Work will be performed in California, Md. (80%); St. Inigoes, Md. (10%); Bath, Maine (5%); and Pascagoula, Miss. (5%), and is expected to be completed by August 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Abhe & Svboda, Inc., Prior Lake, Minn., is being awarded a $5,101,831 firm-fixed price, indefinite-quantity contract for repair and paint of very low frequency towers (Phase II) at the Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station, Atlantic Detachment. The total contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $31,543,842. Work will be performed in Cutler, Maine, and is expected to be completed by October 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 19 proposals solicited and two offers received. The Engineering Field Activity North, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Lester, Penn., is the contracting activity (N62472-96-C-0422).

AIR FORCE

Hamilton Sunstrand Corp., Rockford, Ill., is being awarded a $5,259,326 cooperative agreement to provide for development of power generation and distribution technology that will provide increased power supplies to air vehicles. Expected contract completion date is Aug. 7, 2003. Solicitation issue date was June 4, 1999. Negotiation completion date was July 27, 2000.Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-00-2-2002).
