AIR FORCE

Powerware Corp., Raleigh, N.C., is being awarded a $125,000,000 (estimated) option to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 133 (estimated quantity) static uninterruptible power supplies systems, associated support, maintenance, and warranty, for the Air Force and other government agencies. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Expected contract completion date is September 2001. Solicitation issue date was April 29, 1996. Negotiation completion date was June 25, 1996. Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah, is the contracting activity ( F04606-D-0164-P00010).

Dyncorp Aerospace Technology, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $25,503,009 (estimated) option to a fixed-price-incentive-with-award-fee contract to provide for fiscal year 2001 aircraft maintenance support of the T-37, T-38, AT-38, and T-1A aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2001. The 14th Contracting Squadron, Columbus AFB, Miss., is the contracting activity (F41689-98-C-0500-A00037).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $22,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Lockheed Martin will be one of four contracts participating in the Aerospace Sensor Component and Subsystem Investigation and Innovation 1 Component Analysis and Integration Program. The contractors will investigate, model, analyze, develop, test, and demonstrate radio frequency and photonic component and subsystem technologies for ground, air and space sensor applications. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. Expected contract completion date is Jan. 31, 2006. Solicitation issue date was Dec. 22, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Sept. 5, 2000. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-00-D-1734).

Aerojet General Corp., Azusa, Calif., is being awarded a $7,173,500 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for fiscal year 2001 contractor logistics support and operations and maintenance support for the Central Theater Processing Program (CTPP) supporting the Attack Launch Early Response to Theater (ALERT) system. The CTPP processes and distributes data from the ALERT system. The ALERT system provides continuous surveillance and early warning of theater missiles and other threats to theater warfighters worldwide. Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2001. Solicitation issue date was May 25, 2000. Negotiation completion date was Aug. 25, 2000. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles AFB, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96-C-0004-P00106).

PRC, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $5,443,000 (estimated) option to a fixed-price-incentive contract to provide for FY 2001 operation, maintenance, and logistical support of the Ground-Based Electro Optical deep Space Surveillance System (GEODDS). Expected contract completion date is Sept. 30, 2001. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson AFB, Colo., is the contracting activity (F05604-96-C-9004-P00035).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Information Systems, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $35,507,740 firm-fixed-price contract for the production of 110 test program sets for the AN/USM-636(V) Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS). These test program sets will be used to transition maintenance support from existing and obsolete automated test equipment to CASS. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla. (65%) and Americus, Ga. (35%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured through an electronic Request for Proposals with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0480).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems, Syosset, N.Y., is being awarded a $35,300,000 firm-fixed- price contract for the procurement of five AN/ASD-10(V) Advanced Tactical Air Reconnaissance Systems, including associated spares and engineering and logistics support for the F/A-18C/D aircraft. Work will be performed Syosset, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0190).

Booz-Allen and Hamilton, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded a $9,970,771 modification to previously awarded contract N00421-99-C-1011 to exercise an option for research, design, development, integration, installation, test and evaluation, fielding, analysis, maintenance, material procurements, training, and logistics support of the Navy, Army, Air Force, Special Operation Forces, Joint Services, Federal Agencies, Counterdrug, and other agencies Communications-Electronics Advanced Technology (CEAT) systems. This modification will provide an estimated level of effort of 119,000 man-hours. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md. (19%); Lexington Park, Md. (5%); and various military bases throughout the United States (76%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

Booz-Allen and Hamilton, Inc., McLean, Va., is being awarded an $8,558,698 modification to cost plus fixed fee contract N00421-00-C-0565 to exercise an option for engineering, technical, management, and professional support for the Special Communications Requirements Branch located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md. The Special Communications Requirements Branch provides special communications support for the Department of Defense, joint services, and Federal agencies programs. This modification will provide an estimated level of effort of 149,500 man-hours. Work will be performed in Lexington Park, Md. (70%); St. Inigoes, Md. (21%), and at various military bases throughout the United States (9%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

General Electric Aircraft Engines, General Electric Company, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded an $8,010,670 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the production of 13 Full Authority Digital Electronic Control prototype units, engineering support, production tooling, support equipment, operational security, and all associated technical data. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Motorola SSG, Information Security Systems & Products Division, Scottsdale, Ariz., is being awarded a $7,548,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price, delivery order type contract. This contract is for Motorola CM-200 series single fixed frequency VHF and UHF rack mounted VHF and UHF transmitters and receivers for Naval and Marine Corps Air Stations, U.S. Navy ships and fleet area control and surveillance facilities (FACSFACs). This contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $43,401,900. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy (55%), Federal Aviation Administration (40%), and the U. S. Coast Guard (5%). Work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was procured via a sole source solicitation through the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command electronic commerce web site and Commerce Business Daily, with one offer received in response to sources sought. Dell Marketing L.P., Round Rock, Texas, is being awarded a $6,031,053 GSA Schedule Order to exercise an option to lease laptop and workstation computers to meet Commander in Chief Pacific Fleet ashore requirements. Work will be performed at Round Rock, Texas, and is expected to be completed by September 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. ARMY

General Electric Aircraft Engine, Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $22,860,403 firm-fixed-price contract to provide technical, engineering, and material support to the Corpus Christi Army Depot in support of the overhaul and repair of the entire T700 family of engines for one year. Work will be performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 1, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Aug. 22, 2000. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0347).

CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Weeks Marine Inc., Camden, N.J., is being awarded $660,000 as part of a $7,021,100 firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance dredging for the East Rockaway Inlet Navigation Project, East Rockaway Inlet to Rockaway Inlet and Jamaica Bay, Shore Protection Project. Work will be performed in the East Rockaway Inlet, New York, and is expected to be completed by March 3, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 39 bids solicited on Aug. 7, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York, N.Y., is the contracting activity (DACW51-00-C-0025).
