Lockheed Martin Corp., Mitchel Field, N.Y., is being awarded a $63,464,962 option contained in contract N00030-00-C-0009 to provide the FY 01 United States and United Kingdom Trident II (D5) Navigation Subsystem Production and Engineering Services requirements. Work will be performed in Mitchel Field, N.Y., and is expected to be completed by January 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $36,160,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The DD 21 Alliance-Bath Iron Works Corporation, Bath, Maine and Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $10,569,797 not-to-exceed, firm-fixed-price advance agreement modification to previously awarded contract N00024-98-9-2300 for the acceleration of the DD 21 Computer Aided Design system development. Bath Iron Works Corporation has been selected by the DD 21 Alliance to lead the Alliance and execute this modification. This agreement modification is being executed under the "Other Transaction" authority. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine (50%) and Falls Church, Va.
