AIR FORCE

ITT Industries, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded an $81,244,339 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for support for the Spacelift Range Systems Contract in support of the Air Force's Eastern and Western Ranges. This effort includes systems engineering through October 2006, instrumentation modernization design effort through May 1, 2002, and sustaining and developmental engineering, configuration and data management, depot level maintenance, depot level software maintenance, interim supply support, and associated data through October 2001. This effort includes support for the Multiple Object Tracking Radar at the Eastern and Western Ranges, White Sands Missile Range, N.M., and at locations in the United Kingdom. Expected contract completion date is Oct. 31, 2006. Solicitation issue date was Sept. 27, 1999. Negotiation completion date was Sept. 8, 2000. Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded an $11,660,000 modification to a undefinitized-contract-action contract to provide for long lead items in support of production of 69 Common Configuration Implementation Program kits for the Modular Mission Computer (MMC) and the Color Multi-Function Display Set (CMFDS) on the F-16 aircraft. Expected contract completion date is Dec. 21, 2000. Negotiation completion date was Nov. 17, 2000. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity. ARMY

Royal Ordnance North America Inc., Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Kingsport, Tenn., is being awarded a $15,774,000 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAA09-98-E-0006, for the maintenance of inactive industrial facilities. This requires the contractor to perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for laid-away facilities, special test equipment and special tooling. This applies to all equipment and facilities that will be required to support replenishment. Work will be performed at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant, Kingsport, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Oct. 19, 2000. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command (Provisional), Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

NAVY

  • McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company,
  • St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $13,565,048 modification to previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-fee contract N00019-00-C-0367 for integrated logistics support for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by August 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $13,565,048 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

General Electric Aircraft Engines, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $9,779,674 modification to previously awarded fixed-price-incentive-fee contract N00019-97-C-0114 for interim depot support for the F/A-18E/F F-414-GE-400 engine. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass. (90%); and Evandale, Ohio (10%), and is expected to be completed by September 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

TW Metals, Inc., Forest Park, Ga., is being awarded a $11,000,000 fixed-price with economic price adjustment indefinite quantity contract for metals and metal products. There were 27 proposals solicited and two were received. Work will be performed in Glen Ellyn, Ill. and is expected to be completed by Nov. 3, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0500-01-D-BP03).
