NAVY

Digital System Resources, Inc., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $47,354,792 cost-plus incentive-fee/award-fee letter contract for Multi-Purpose Processor (MPP) units, MPP kits, MPP upgrade kits, prototypes, spares, and engineering and technical services and materials for the design and development of upgrades and support for the Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf Insertion (ARCI). The MPP is a combination of hardware and software that enables submarines to process data collected by towed and hull arrays. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va. (80%) and Anaheim Hills, Calif. (20%), and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $604,644 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va. is the contracting activity (N00024-01-C-6239).

R. A. Burch Construction Company, Inc.*, Ramona, Calif., is being awarded a $9,325,572 firm-fixed price contract for repairs to Hangar 3 at the Naval Air Station, Lemoore. Work will be performed in Lemoore, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 63 proposals solicited and eight offers received. The Engineering Field Activity West, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, San Bruno, Calif., is the contracting activity (N62474-00-C-3033).

Resource Consultants, Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a $5,402,873 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement for engineering and related technical support services for selected command and control technology systems and related equipment. This contract is to provide Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego with engineering and technical support services for selected command and control technology programs such as Global Command and Control System-Maritime, Navy Tactical Command Support System, Meteorological and Oceanographic Systems, and advanced experimental, demonstration, and developmental technology efforts such as Advanced Concept Site, Fleet Battle Experiments, Joint Warrior Interoperability Demonstration, and Extended Littoral Battlefield. This contract contains four one-year options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $27,747,825. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (60%) and onboard U.S. Navy vessels and shore activities worldwide (40%), and is expected to be completed by February 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured, published in the Commerce Business Daily and posted to the SPAWAR E-Commerce web site with six offers received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-01-D-5023).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

ArmorWorks, Inc.*, Tempe, Ariz., is being awarded a $10,943,400 firm fixed price, indefinite quantity type contract for small arms protective inserts. Work is expected to be completed by February 19, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-01-D-4014).

England Jet Center, Inc.*, Alexandria, La., is being awarded a $10,248,269 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet fuel. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-01-D-0009).

Crowley Marine Services, Inc., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $7,780,938 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet fuel, diesel fuel and gasoline. Work will be performed in King Salmon, Alaska, and is expected to be completed by October 31, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-99-R-9000-0001).

Avion Flight Centre, Inc.*, Midland, Tex., is being awarded a $5,416,454 fixed price with economic price adjustment contract for jet fuel. Work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-01-D-0037).

AIR FORCE

BAE Systems, Yonkers, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,180,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 12 receiver processors applicable to the AN/ALQ-131, Electronic Countermeasures System Block II. There was one firms solicited and one proposal received. Solicitation began No ember 2000; negotiations were completed December 2000. At this time, $3,090,000 of the contract funds have been obligated. This effort supports foreign military sales to Bahrain. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins AFB, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-01/C-0094).
