ARMY

PB/NAMMO Demil LLC, New York, N.Y., is being awarded a $10,694,410 delivery order as part of firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract DAAA09-99-D-0003. This delivery order is for the demilitarization of nine families of conventional ammunition including: pyrotechnics, bombs, high explosive cartridges, explosive D, improved conventional munitions, bulk propellant, propelling charges, fuzes and small caliber ammunition. Work will be performed at Indiana Ordnance Works Inc., Charlestown, Ind. (48%); McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, Okla. (19%); Buck, Germany (11%); Lokken Verk, Norway (8%); Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, Utah (6%); ICI Explosive Environmental Co., Joplin, Mo. (5%), and Vingaker, Sweden (3%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 5, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were two bids solicited on Sept. 8, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Ordnance Systems, Burlington, Vt., is being awarded a $9,826,403 delivery order as part of firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract DAAA09-99-D-0004. This delivery order is for the demilitarization of nine families of conventional ammunition including: pyrotechnics, bombs, high explosive cartridges, explosive D, improved conventional munitions, bulk propellant, propelling charges, fuzes and small caliber ammunition. Work will be performed at TPL Inc., Fort Wingate, N.M. (34%); EBV-MBH, Vogelgesang, Germany (34%); HITECH Inc., Woodberry, Ark. (12%); PRIMEX Technologies, Marion, Ill. (12%), and ICI Explosive Environmental Co., Joplin, Mo. (8%), and is expected to be completed by Sept. 5, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
