DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

PYA Monarch Atlanta, Atlanta, Ga., is being awarded a $18,250,000 firm-fixed-price type contract for subsistence prime vendor for DoD and non-DoD customers in Georgia. Work is expected to be completed by April 18, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-01-D-2966).

Sysco Food Services of Seattle, Kent, Wash., is being awarded a $12,280,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity type contract for full line food distribution for Washington land-based activities. Work is expected to be completed by April 19, 2002. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-01-D-2956).

PYA Monarch Mongomery, Montgomery, Ala., is being awarded a $8,300,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity type contract for subsistence prime vendor for DoD and non-DoD customers in Alabama and the Florida panhandle. Work is expected to be completed by April 18, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0300-01-D-2965).

ARMY

Dyncorp Technical Services, Ft. Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $16,233,142 modification to firm-fixed-price with cost-reimbursable lines contract DAAH23-00-C-0226 for C-12 and UC-35 aircraft life cycle support. Work will be performed in Ft. Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the World Wide Web on March 8, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Kalmar Rough Terrain Center LLC, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $15,585,813 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price/requirements-type contract DAAE07-00-D-T021 for a Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH) with 53,000-pound capacity, and 36 handles (20 ft. and 40 ft.) for International Organization for Standardization containers weighing up to 53,000 pounds. The RTCH operates on beaches, rough terrain and unimproved surfaces. The forklift kit positions modular causeway sections and handles break bulk cargo and palletized loading system flat racks. Work will be performed in Ljungby, Sweden, and is expected to be completed by May 30, 2007. Of the total contract funds, $664,551 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Feb. 1, 2000. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Government Systems Corp., Taunton, Mass., is being awarded an $8,757,953 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAB07-94-C-N853, to exercise options for common hardware/software items for Project Manager Army Tactical Command and Control Systems computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be performed in Taunton, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 10, 2005. Of the total contract funds, $11,924 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1994, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Systems Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Astronautics Group, Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $5,810,974 modification to a cost-plus-award fee contract to provide for caretaker maintenance status for Launch Complex 36A, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. This provides for sustainment such that the complex can be ready for launch operations on six-month notice. This work is expected to be completed by September 2002. This effort will be performed by Lockheed Martin, Littleton, Colo. (25%), and Lockheed Martin Astronautics Group, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla. (75%). Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-95-C-0012, P00222)
