AIR FORCE

BEM Systems Inc., Chatham, N.J.; Versar Inc., Springfield, Va.; Geo-Marine Inc., Plano, Texas; Environmental Quality Management Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio; and TolTest Inc., Toledo, Ohio, are being awarded a $750,000,000 (program maximum) indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide services to support remediation of site conditions in accordance with technical and regulatory requirements, to operate environmental systems, and to provide construction and ancillary services. These contractors are the last five out of 14 that will participate. Award to the first nine contractors was announced on April 26, 2001. At this time, $15,000 has been obligated to each contractor. There were 198 firms solicited and 25 proposals received. The work will be performed at U.S. government (primarily Air Force) installations, as well as any other worldwide sites for which the Air Force Center for Environmental Excellence customers have responsibility. Solicitation began November 2000; negotiations were completed April 2001. Human Systems Wing, Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41624-01-D-8550-BEM Systems Inc.; F41624-01-D-8550-Vesar Inc.; F41624-01-D-8553-Geo-Marine Inc.; F41624-01-D-8554-Environmental Quality Management Inc.; F41624-01-D-8550-TolTest Inc.).

Kormendi/Gardner Partners, Washington, D.C., is being awarded a $38,960,000 (maximum per contract) firm-fixed-price contract to provide advisory and assistance services through September 2006 in support of housing privatization activities. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. This contractor is the fifth of five to participate in this program. Solicitations began August 2000; negotiations were completed April 2001. The work will be performed at multiple locations worldwide. Human Systems Wing, Brooks Air Force Base, Texas is the contracting activity (F41622-01-D0007).

NAVY

Anteon Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $15,656,314 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a cost-plus-fixed-fee pricing arrangement for computer systems operations and hardware maintenance of computers, peripherals, tactical displays and networks for the Combat Direction System Development and Evaluations Sites located at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center San Diego and the Fleet Combat Training Center Pacific in San Diego. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by May 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured, with one offer received. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity (N66001-01-D-5004).

Digital System Resources Inc.*, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded an $8,180,084 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for services to provide engineering and analysis support for the implementation of the Technology Insertion/Refreshment Management Plan for the Virginia Class SSN Non-Propulsion Electronics System. Work will be performed in Fairfax, Va., and is expected to be completed by May 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-01-C-6235).
