ARMY

Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded an $8,600,000 increment of a $9,388,169 (base year total) cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price contract, with an estimated cumulative total of $59,950,206 if all options are exercised. This contract is for research and development of the Joint Network Management System, a Commander in Chief and Commander, Joint Forces, joint communications planning and management system which provides communication planners with the capabilities to conduct high level planning (war planning), detailed planning and engineering, monitoring, control and reconfiguration, spectrum planning and management and security of systems and networks supporting joint operations. Work will be performed in McLean, Va. (50%); Red Bank, N.J. (25%); and Piscataway, N.J. (25%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the Business Opportunity Page on Oct. 19, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-01-C-F404).

Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, time and materials contract with an estimated cumulative total of $15,261,909 for technical support services, including conduct of training courses, fielding support, support for government conducted testing, post deployment software support and maintenance support and for replenishment spares for Joint Network Management System hardware suites. Work will be performed in McLean, Va. (50%); Red Bank, N.J. (25%); and Piscataway, N.J. (25%), and is expected to be completed by Oct. 16, 2008. There was an announcement on the Business Opportunity Page on Oct. 19, 2000, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-01-D-F405).

AIR FORCE

ITT Industries, Systems Division, Cape Canaveral, Fla., is being awarded a $15,750,000 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee and firm-fixed-price contract to provide program management, systems engineering, depot maintenance, product acquisitions and modifications for the Space Range Systems Contract. Efforts will include operations and maintenance projects, new procurements and funding from commercial range users for modifications to legacy communications, telemetry and range safety subsystems to meet near-term launch requirements. Headquarters Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-00-C-0001/P00003).
