NAVY

ITT Gilfillan Division of ITT Industries, Inc., Van Nuys, Calif., is being awarded a $142,763,800 firm-fixed-priced letter contract for six SPS-48E three-dimensional land-based radar systems and associated supplies and services, to the Arab Republic of Egypt under the Foreign Military Sales program. Work will be performed in Van Nuys, Calif., and is expected to be completed by January 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity (M67854-01-C-2090).

Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Inc., Vienna, Va., is being awarded a maximum amount of $25,000,000 with a guaranteed minimum of $500,000 (base term), firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity job order contract for construction, renovation, alteration and repairs to construction projects. The contract includes options, which if exercised, would bring the total cumulative contract value not to exceed $125,000,000. Work will be performed at naval activities in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia including Virginia Beach (50%); Norfolk (30%); Portsmouth (15%); and Yorktown (5%), and work is expected to be completed by June 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 50 proposals solicited and six offers received. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-01-D-1011).

Lockheed Martin, Management and Data Systems, Philadelphia, Pa., is being awarded a $5,597,884 modification to a firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-award-fee contract for the low rate initial production (LRIP) of the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS) consisting of four TTWCS Surface Ship Suites and two TTWCS Submarine Conversion Kits. The initial LRIP procurement will also provide for installation of three of the TTWCS Surface Ship Suites and TTWCS training for two ships crews. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (57%); Valley Forge, Pa. (22%); and Cherry Hill, N.J. (21%), and is expected to be completed in September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-99-C-0049).

ARMY

Computer Sciences Corp., Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded $50,000 as part of an estimated $70,100,000 time and materials/labor hour, firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract. The Defense Acquisition and Logistics Information Management System (DALIMS) infrastructure contract will provide commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and software, site surveys, system integration, site preparation, installation, testing, data and technical deliverables, data conversion and loading, and technical, sustainment, and management support of the DALIMS sites. The contract will support the mission of the Joint Computer-Aided Acquisition and Logistic Support (JCALS) program and provide the requisite infrastructure and services to continue deployment of the JCALS system software. Users are Department of Defense activities and other federal agencies located inside and outside of the continental United States. The DALIMS contract will provide for deployment efforts at approximately 47 additional DALIMS sites, upgrades at existing JCALS sites, and deployment efforts in support of the Department of Defense infrastructure initiative portion of the JCALS program. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the business opportunity page on Oct. 19, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Alexandria, Va., is the contracting activity (DAAB15-01-D-0001).

DEFENSE ADVANCED RESEARCH PROJECTS AGENCY

Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $3,000,000 increment as part of a $16,038,101 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract, with a cumulative total of $17,138,101. The contractor will perform simulation and modeling for biological agent detection, Phase II, for research and development to detect biological warfare agents. Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif. (63%), and Carlsbad, Calif. (37%), and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 24, 2000. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (MDA972-00-C-0053).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Southern CATS, Inc.*, Ontario, Calif. (San Bernadino), is being awarded a $20,000.000 (estimated maximum) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity type contract for CT Scanner Maintenance Service (National) for the Army in San Bernadino. One proposal was solicited and one responded. Performance completion date is expected to be June 27, 2002. Payment of funds will be determined at time of task order. Marconi Medical Systems, Inc., Highland Heights, Ohio, is being awarded a $20,000,000 (estimated maximum) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity type contract for CT Scanner Maintenance Service (National) for the Army in Ohio. There was one proposal solicited and one responded. Performance completion date is expected to be June 27, 2002. Payment of funds will be determined at the time of task order. General Electric Medical Systems, Inc., Milwaukee, Wis., is being awarded a $20,000,000 (estimated maximum) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity type contract for CT Scanner Maintenance Service (National) for the Army in Wisconsin. There was one proposal solicited and one response received. Performance completion date is expected to be June 27, 2002. Payment of funds will be determined at the time of task order. Siemens Medical Systems, Inc., Iselin, N.J., is being awarded a $20,000,000 (estimated maximum) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity type contract for CT Scanner Maintenance Service (National) for the Army in New Jersey. There was one proposal solicited and one responded. Performance completion date is expected to be June 27, 2002. Payment of funds will be determined at the time of task order. Exxon/Mobil Fuels Marketing Company, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $8,090,000 fixed- price with economic price adjustment type contract for providing JP-8 Jet Fuel to the Defense Energy Support Center in Baton Rouge, La. There were nine proposals solicited and four responded. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2001. Stock Funds for FY 2001 will be used for this contract. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-01-D-0497).
