AIR FORCE

Boeing Aerospace Operations Inc., Midwest City, Okla., is being awarded a $32,168,000 (not-to-exceed) cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for prototype development for an audio enhancement to the communication system on the E-4B aircraft. At this time, $16,084,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work is to be completed October 2002. Boeing will perform this effort at its facility in Wichita, Kan. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-01-C-0004, P-00023).

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, Hartford, Conn., is being awarded a $29,594,776 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for technical data services to support the F100 engine of the F-15/F-16 aircraft. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work is to be completed March 2002. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F41608-99-D-0460, P0005).

DynCorp Technical Services, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $26,561,258 (estimated) fixed-price incentive (firm target with award-fee) contract modification to provide for fiscal year 2002 aircraft maintenance support for the T-37, T-38 and T1A aircraft. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work is to be complete September 2002. Dyncorp will perform this effort at Columbus Air Force Base, Miss. The 14th Contracting Squadron, Columbus Air Force Base, Miss., is the contracting activity.

Rockwell Collins Inc, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, being awarded an $11,552,941 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for Phase 2 of the C/KC-135 Special Purpose Aircraft Block 35 Upgrade Program. The Block 35 requirement consists of aircraft unique engineering, on-site engineering modification support, supplemental group "A" kits and update of technical data necessary for the integration of 13 Time Compliance Technical Order in six C/KC-135 special purpose aircraft. At this time, the total amount of fund has been obligated. This work is to be completed March 2003. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-00-C-0042, P00022).

AAI Engineering Support, Hunt Valley, Md., is being awarded a $10,634,556 contract modification to provide for additional engineering and program management support for a concurrency upgrade to the maintenance training system supporting the C-17 (Block 12) aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work is to be completed August 2004. AAI will perform this effort at its facility in Summerville, S.C. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-97-C-2009, P00057).

Phoenix Management Inc., Austin, Texas, is being awarded a $10,030,276 fixed-price with award-fee contract to provide for launch support services for the 576th Flight Test Squadron at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. These services include launch facility refurbishment in support of Minuteman launch facilities, corrosion control, vehicle issue and control, equipment issue and control, environmental management services, program management services and training management services. At this time, $1,966,008 of the funds have been obligated. Six firms were solicited in January 2001, and five proposals were received. Negotiations were completed August 2001. This work is to be completed September 2002. Phoenix Management Inc. will perform this effort at Vandenberg Air Force, Calif. The 30th Contract Squadron, Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04684-01C-0506).

Boeing Co., Defense and Space Group, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $7,100,000 firm-fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract modification to provide for funding for depot replenishment spares for electrical power upgrade for C-32A aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds have been obligated. This work is to be completed November 2002. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F34601-96-C-0605, P00052).

ARCTEC Range Technical Services, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $6,755,545 firm-fixed-price award fee contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 operation and maintenance of the Pacific Alaska Range Complex, Eielsen Air Force Base, Alaska. At this time, the total amount of funds have been obligated. There were 30 firms solicited in December 2000, and three proposals were received. Negotiations were completed July 2001. This work is to be completed September 2009 (one base year and seven option years). The 354th Contracting Squadron, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, is the contracting activity (F65503-01-C-0048).
