AIR FORCE

North American Airlines Contractor Team, Sterling, Va., is being awarded a $359,474,495 (estimated) firm-fixed-price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Solicitation was posted via the World Wide Web in February 2001, and 31 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in September 2001. World Airways will perform this effort in Herndon, Va. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (F11626-01-D-0027).

Federal Express Charter Program Teaming Arrangement, Memphis, Tenn., is being awarded a $182,449,534 (estimated) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Solicitation was posted via the World Wide Web in February 2001, and 31 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in September 2001. American Trans Air Inc. (70%), Indianapolis, Ind., and other contractors will perform this effort at various locations. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (F11626-01-D-0028).

Air Transport International, Little Rock, Ark., is being awarded a $76,149,835 (estimated) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Solicitation was posted via the World Wide Web in February 2001, and 31 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in August 2001. Air Transport will perform this effort at various locations worldwide. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (F11626-01-D-0034).

Dyncorp Technical Services Inc., Vance Air Force Base, Okla., is being awarded a $56,398,357 fixed-price incentive firm target with award-fee contract modification to provide for fiscal year 2002 base operating support services and maintenance support for the T-37, T-38 and T-1A aircraft. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This work is to be completed September 2002. Dyncorp will perform this effort at Vance Air Force Base, Okla. Air Education and Training Command, Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41689-00-C-0503, P00009).

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded an $50,221,397 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for implementation of civil/military integration contract to institute best acquisition practices on the C-17 production contract for Lots 13-15, conversion of the contract type from fixed-price incentive (firm target) to firm-fixed-price for Lots 13-15 only, settlement of a contractor request for equitable adjustment and removal of the contract clause that allows the contractor to submit claims when economic factors affect originally agreed to prices. At this time, $49,990,842 of the funds has been obligated. There is no change to the existing delivery schedule. The Air Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-96-C-2059, P00135).

Miami Air International Inc., Miami, Fla., is being awarded a $20,239,052 (estimated) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Solicitation was posted via the World Wide Web in February 2001, and 31 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in August 2001. Miami Air will perform this effort at various locations. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (F11626-01-D-0029).

Lynden Air Cargo, Anchorage, Alaska, is being awarded a $15,339,971 (estimated) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Solicitation was posted via the World Wide Web in February 2001, and 31 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in August 2001. Lynden Air Cargo will perform this effort at various locations. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (F11626-01-D-0037).

Arrow Air Inc., Miami, Fla., is being awarded an $11,391,355 (estimated) firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide for fiscal year 2002 international airlift services in support of Air Mobility Command. At this time, no funds have been obligated. Solicitation was posted via the World Wide Web in February 2001, and 31 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in August 2001. Arrow Air Cargo will perform this effort at various locations. Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity (F11626-01-D-0039).

DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE

Gilford Corp., Beltsville, Md., is being awarded a fixed-price-award-fee contract, contract number MDA947-01-C-2001, for the design-build of Pentagon office space in Basement Segment 2A1. The renovation work in Pentagon Basement Segment 2A1 will provide a modern office environment for Pentagon tenants that will also meet current health, fire, and life safety codes, as well as provide reliable mechanical and electrical services. The contract initial price is $7,999,999. The contract has an estimated potential cumulative value of $8,723,899. Work will be performed at the Pentagon in Arlington, Va., and completion is expected by April 2003. There were three offers solicited on July 18, 2001, and two offers were received. The Pentagon Renovation Program Office is the contracting activity.
