ARMY

MCII Electric*, Tulsa, Okla., is being awarded an estimated $105,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for a maximum of 800 (per year) Total Quiet Generator sets (30/60 kW) and associated testing, data items and services, over a six-year period. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. Work will be performed in Tulsa, Okla., and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2006. There were 34 bids solicited on May 23, 2001, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-01-D-F201).

Choctaw Manufacturing and Development Corp.*, Hugo, Okla., is being awarded an estimated $55,000,000 indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for Army Space Heaters and Chemical Biological Protection Kits over a ten-year period. The acquisition will include First Article Test Requirements and the associated data items. An appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order. Work will be performed in Hugo, Okla., and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2011. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 17, 2001. This award is a Hubzone and a Section 8-A set-aside to the Choctaw Tribal Nation. Boeing Military Aircraft and Missile Systems Group - Helicopter Division, Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded on Sept. 25, 2001, a $259,445 delivery order amount as part of a $49,500,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for various CH-47 aircraft spares (DAAH23-01-D-0174), and a $723,127 delivery order amount as part of a $2,843,331 firm-fixed-price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for various CH-47 aircraft spares (DAAH23-01-D-0173). Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and completion is expected by Dec. 31, 2003. These are sole source contracts initiated on Jan. 16, 2001. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Honeywell, Inc., Sensor & Guidance Products, Clearwater, Fla., is being awarded $4,255,000 as part of an estimated $42,624,000 firm-fixed-price, commercial, and indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for 1,150 (over a five-year period), Inertial Navigation Units in support of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System and the Striker Vehicle. Work will be performed in Clearwater, Fla., and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE20-01-D-0092).

Barr Laboratories Inc., Pomona, N.Y., was awarded on Sept. 25, 2001, $17,354,938 as part of a $35,350,158 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the manufacture of Adenovirus Vaccines, Types 4 and 7. Work will be performed at Barr Laboratories in Forest, Va. (50%), at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Silver Spring, Md. (30%), and Pomona, N.Y. (20%), and completion is expected by Sept. 31, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 33 bids solicited on March 5, 2001, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Fort Detrick, Md., is the contracting activity (DAMD17-01-C-0058).

The Boeing Co., Boeing Military Aircraft and Missile System Group - Helicopter Division, Philadelphia, Pa., was awarded on Sept. 25, 2001, $5,097,750 as part of a $20,707,145 firm-fixed-price letter contract for the overhaul of 27 Forward Rotary Heads and 68 Aft Rotary Heads applicable to the CH-47 helicopter. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa., and completion is expected by Oct. 27, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract. American Ordnance LLC, Milan, Tenn., is being awarded a $16,433,865 delivery order amount as part of firm-fixed-price delivery order contract DAAA09-98-C-0011, to load, assemble and pack 2,435,584 cartridges (M918, 40 mm). Work will be performed at the Milan Army Ammunition Plant, Milan, Tenn., and completion is expected by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Jan. 3, 2001. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

SkyHook Technologies Inc.*, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded an $11,936,961 task order amount as part of cost-plus-fixed-fee contract DAAA09-99-D-0014, for the acquisition and installation of Search and Rescue "A" and "B" Kits for UH-60L helicopters, and Crashworthy External Fuel System "A" and "B" Kits for UH-60L helicopters. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (65%); Tempe, Ariz. (16.8%); Portland, Ore. (15.4%), and Union, N.J. (2.8%), and completion is expected by June 30, 2004. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 6, 2001. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

Templeton Construction Co., San Angelo, Texas, is being awarded $8,929,000 as part of a $9,248,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the construction of visitors quarters at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. Completion is expected by Oct. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 195 bids solicited on Aug. 17, 2001, and six bids were received. Volmar Construction Inc., Brooklyn, N.Y., was awarded on Sept. 25, 2001, a $9,125,000 firm-fixed-price contract for the renovation and additions to 156 new brick neighborhood family housing units and 8 historic family housing units. Work will be performed at West Point, N.Y., and completion is expected by Oct. 30, 2003. There were 60 bids solicited on May 23, 2001, and five bids were received. J. Kokolakis Contracting Inc., Tarpon Springs, Fla., is being awarded a $9,109,950 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of an Army Reserve Center Aviation Support Facility. Work will be performed at the St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport, Fla., and completion is expected by March 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Honeywell Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $7,193,937 firm-fixed-price contract for 28 Right Improved Master Control Processing Units, 28 Left Improved Master Control Processing Units, one Circuit Card Assembly, and one General Purpose Processor, all in support of the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior aircraft. Work will be performed in Albuquerque, N.M., and completion is expected by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Bedford, Mass., is being awarded a $5,460,005 modification to cost-plus-award-fee contract DAAH01-99-C-0028, for FY01 PATRIOT engineering services and for FY00 PATRIOT engineering services descope. Work will be performed in Burlington, Mass. (6%); Huntsville, Ala. (7%); Andover, Mass. (5%); Tewksbury, Mass. (65%); El Paso, Texas (1%); Bedford, Mass. (15%), and Orlando, Fla. (1%), and completion is expected by Jan. 31, 2002. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 21, 1998. CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Smock Fansler Corp.*, Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $3,000,000 increment of an $8,236,000 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of a visitor's center at South Park (Beveridge/Pumphouse) Segment Central Indianapolis Waterfront Development. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and completion is expected by June 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 59 bids solicited on July 24, 2001, and two bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACW27-01-C-0029).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing Company, Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $36,189,229 fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for Turbine Fuel, JP-8, for the Defense Energy Support Center. Work will be performed in Baton Rouge, La. Work is expected to be completed by October 30, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 244 proposals solicited and 31 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-01-D-0528).

Bayer Corporation Pharmaceutical Division, West Haven, Ct., is being awarded a $9,887,718 fixed price with economic price adjustment, indefinite delivery, and indefinite quantity type contract for pharmaceutical antibiotics for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps in Connecticut. Work is expected to be completed by September 25, 2001. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation was issued via Procurement Gateway and therefore the number of solicited is unknown but 4 responses were received. Eagle Aviation, Inc*., Kalispell, Mt., (woman owned small disadvantage business), was awarded on September 26, 2001, a $7,383,199 fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for diesel fuel for the U.S. Air Force in Nevada and Utah. Work is expected to be completed by August 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Proposals were solicited on the web and 18 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-01-D-4536).

TW Metals Inc., Carol Stream, Il., is being awarded a $5,723,089 fixed price with economic price adjustment and indefinite quantity type contract for a supply integrator of metals and metal products for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and federal civilian customers in the Hawaii/Guam region. This contract has a 2-year base with 3 one-year options. Work is expected to be completed by September 29, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 30 proposals solicited and 8 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP050099-D-0067).

NAVY

Gibbs Construction, New Orleans, La.; Broadmoor Design Group, Metairie, La.; and Spartan Building Corp.*, Madisonville, La., were awarded a not-to-exceed $30,000,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity/design-build multiple award construction contract for various design/construction projects for Naval Facilities Engineering Command field offices in the New Orleans, La. area of responsibility. Two contractors were awarded a minimum guarantee of $25,000 and Gibbs Construction was awarded the initial project for $440,000 on September 29, 2000. Spartan Building Corp. is being awarded firm-fixed-price Task Order 0001 at $6,690,000 for design and construction of an Armed Forces Reserve Center, Phase I (Marine Reserve Center) at Naval Air Station New Orleans, La. Work will be performed in New Orleans, La., and is expected to be completed by February 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 23 proposals solicited, six offers received, and award made to multiple contractors September 29, 2000. These three contractors compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Three proposals were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Southern Division, North Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity (N62467-00-D-0302/0303/0304).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Navy Electronics & Surveillance Systems, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $16,814,404 modification to previously awarded contract (N00178-98-C-2004) to exercise an option to provide continuing lifetime engineering service support for the Aegis Combat and Weapons Systems. Award of this option assures performance characteristics of the Aegis Weapons Systems and Aegis Combat System are preserved while modifications are implemented throughout the lifetime of the CG-47 and DDG-51 Class ship combat systems. Work will be performed in Moorestown, N.J., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity.

BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $16,474,562 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee term contract (N00421-97-C-1434) to exercise an option to provide technical and engineering services is support of Identification Systems (IDS) Programs. The estimated level of effort for this option is 398,894 man-hours. Work will be performed in California, Md. (70%); St. Inigoes, Md. (25%); and other Government facilities to include Charleston, S.C.; Pascagoula, Miss.; Norfolk, Va.; San Diego, Calif.; and Cherry Hill, N.C. (5%), and is expected to be completed in September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

X-COM Inc., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $9,999,345 firm-fixed-price indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery contract for parallel matrix and serial matrix switches and fiber optic extenders, in support of the Aegis Weapons System Program. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds in the amount of $25,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was procured on a sole source basis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity (N00178-01-D-2013).

BAE Systems Applied Technologies, Inc., Rockville, Md., is being awarded a $5,810,128 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00421-97-C-1491) to exercise an option for technical and engineering services for the Air Traffic Control Systems Branch, Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md. The estimated level of effort for this option is 118,000 man-hours. Work will be performed in St. Inigoes, Md., and is expected to be completed in September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, St. Inigoes, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corporation Systems, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $7,982,000 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to provide for upgrade to MH-53 Helicopter simulator. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete September 2003. Lockheed Martin Information Systems will perform this effort at the 58th training Support Squadron, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-00-C-0206, P00021).
