Lockheed Martin Corp., Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems-Undersea Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $43,546,639 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus incentive-fee/award-fee contract (N00024-01-C-6237) to exercise an option for level-of-effort engineering and technical services in support of the Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf Insertion (ARCI) Program. ARCI integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array and other ship sensor processing on SSN 688, SSN 688I and SSBN 726 class submarines. Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., and is expected to be completed by December 2001. Contract funds in the amount of $17,418,655 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
Eaton Corp., Navy Controls Division, Milwaukee, Wis., is being awarded a $10,598,619 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement (N00024-01-9-4022) for fabrication of prototype power conversion modules for the Integrated Fight-Through Power System. The Integrated Fight-Through Power System provides a flexible switching and distribution system through which electrical power generated by the ship's prime mover is made available for all shipboard needs, including ship's service and combat system needs. Work will be performed in Milwaukee, Wis., and is expected to be completed by October 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
