NAVY

Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc., Schenectady, N.Y., is being awarded a $218,415,866 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Naval nuclear propulsion components. Work will be performed in Schenectady, N. Y. (57%), and Pittsburgh, Pa. (43%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. No completion date or additional information is provided on nuclear propulsion contracts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-02-C-2100).

Raytheon Systems Co., Waco, Texas, is being awarded a $21,477,927 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-98-C-0022) to exercise an option for the procurement of one Airborne Command Post (ABNCP) E-6B retrofit kit and the installation of two ABNCP kits (one previously procured kit). Work will be performed in Waco, Texas, and is expected to be completed in January 2003. Contract funds in the amount of $596,139 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command Headquarters, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Systems, d/b/a Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $17,243,423 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-97-C-0027) to exercise an option for the Sidewinder AIM-9X Low Rate Initial Production of 67 All Up Round Missiles, 3 Captive Air Training Missiles, and other associated components. Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz., and is expected to be completed in April 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

ARMY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Missile & Fire Control-Dallas, Grand Prairie, Texas, is being awarded an $80,745,000 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAAH01-98-C-0093. This modification is to exercise the option for 110 Army Tactical Missile System, Block I Foreign Military Sales, Variant Guided Missile and Launching Assemblies, and one Guided Missile and Launching Assembly and Flight Test Support effort, for Korea. Work will be performed in Dallas, Texas, and completion is expected by Dec. 31, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Sept. 12, 1996. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity.

Robertson Aviation Inc.*, Tempe, Ariz., was awarded on Nov. 16, 2001, a $10,222,576 increment as part of a $39,322,576 firm-fixed-price, time and materials contract for AH-64 Apache A/B Internal Auxiliary Fuel System A Kits, B Kits, Combo-PAK (100 gallon tank integrated with 246 round 30 mm Flat Small Pak, storage cradles, peculiar ground support equipment-tank transporters, spares, test support and documentation for the Apache helicopter. Work will be performed in Tempe, Ariz., and completion is expected by Sept. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source procurement based on unusual and compelling urgency. The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-02-C-0043).

AIR FORCE

The Boeing Defense and Space Group, Wichita, Kan., is being awarded a $21,261,500 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for four group A re-engining kits applicable to the RC-135 aircraft, one group A re-engining kit applicable to the KC-135E aircraft, associated engineering and data. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete June 2003. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-97-C-0001, P00096).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sterling Foods, Inc.*, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $12,977,510 firm fixed price with indefinite quantity type contract for subsistence products to be included in MRE's for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps. This announcement is exercising its second year option. Performance completion date is expected to be December 31, 2002. There were 58 proposals solicited and 1 responded. Contract funds will expire by the end of the current fiscal year. Contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. (SP0300-00-D-Z120)
