AIR FORCE

Powerware Corp., Raleigh, N.C., is being awarded a $76,024,415 (estimated) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 238 (estimated quantity) static uninterruptible power supply systems associated with ancillary equipment, deinstallation, installation, start-up, training, preventative and emergency maintenance in support of warranty and technical documentation. Funds will be obligated as individual deliver orders are issued. There were 22 firms solicited in May 2001, and two proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in September 2001. This work will complete based on individual delivery orders. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-01-D-0327).

NAVY

General Electric International Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio, is being awarded a $19,333,220 delivery-order fourth-year requirements of a performance-based logistics requirements contract for the repair of T-700 engine components used on H-60, AH-1W and SH-2G aircraft. In addition to engine component repair, the contract provides a three-year warranty and all of the following material management functions: receiving, warehousing, inventory management, packing, shipping and electronic data interchange reporting transactions of the T-700 Engine Component Repair Program. Work will be performed in Arkansas City, Kan., and is expected to be completed by September 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with two proposals solicited and two offers received. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-98-D-022F-7005).

Acton Burnell Inc, Alexandria, Va., is being awarded a $9,005,545 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity time and materials, firm-fixed-price contract (N00421-01-D-0065) to exercise an option to provide technical support services to the Office of Chief of Naval Operations and the Naval Air Systems Command Aviation Training Systems Program Office. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., and is expected to be completed by November 2002. Contract funds in the amount of $8,500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Remotec Inc., Oak Ridge, Tenn., is being awarded a $5,626,788 firm-fixed-price contract for explosive ordnance disposal robotic vehicles. Work will be performed in Oak Ridge, Tenn., and is expected to be completed by July 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is being awarded on a sole source basis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-02-C-0003).
