ARMY

Ogden Environmental and Energy Services Co. Inc., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract with a potential value as $598,000,000 to provide a full range of environmental engineering, professional, technical and remediation services for the Air National Guard. Work will be performed at various locations throughout the United States and its territories and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2011. There were 504 bids solicited on Jan. 14, 2000, and 15 bids were received. The National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (DAHA90-01-D-006).

GTSI, Chantilly, Va., is being awarded an $8,443,771 modification to firm-fixed-price contract DAMD17-01-P-0157 for Army licenses for software upgrades. Work will be performed in Chantilly, Va., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Dec. 28, 2000. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Frederick, Md., is the contracting activity.

Marathon Technologies, Elk Grove Village, Ill., is being awarded a $4,255,875 modification to firm-fixed-price, three-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract DAAE20-02-D-0026 for a minimum guaranteed 3,900 MK64 mounts for Mark 19 grenade machine guns. Work will be performed in Elk Grove, Ill., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were six bids solicited on May 15, 2001, and four bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

TXU Energy Services, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $71,518,647 firm-fixed-price contract for 1,758,305 megawatt hours of electricity to service the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and the NASA Johnson Space Center. Performance completion date is expected to be December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 21 proposals solicited, and three responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-02-D-8001).

American Apparel Inc., Selma, Ala., is being awarded an $11,728,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-delivery and -quantity type contract for a minimum quantity of 60,000/maximum quantity of 160,000 each of all weather coats for the U.S. Army. This contract is for a base year with four one-year option periods. Performance completion date is expected to be Dec. 5, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 98 proposals solicited, and seven responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0100-02-D-0315).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Mitchel Field, N.Y., is being awarded a $61,304,081 fixed-price-incentive, cost-plus-incentive, cost-plus-fixed-fee level of effort contract to provide the fiscal year 2002 U.S. and United Kingdom Trident II (D5) navigation subsystem production and engineering services requirements. Work will be performed in Mitchel Field, N.Y. (79.04%), and Clearwater, Fla. (20.96%), and is expected to be completed by September 2004. Contract funds in the amount of $34,533,146 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-02-C-0021).

General Dynamics Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $12,709,437 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for the Strategic Weapon System Maintenance Information Network effort and includes Trident II fire control life cycle cost control. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-02-C-0005).

Interstate Electronics Corp., Anaheim, Calif., is being awarded an $11,617,300 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide final design effort for the M250R RF radar receiver for tracking missiles during flight test and various test kits. Work will be performed in Anaheim, Calif., and is expected to be completed by June 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Program, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-01-C-0067).

The Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a $5,866,877 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the non-recurring development effort associated with modifying Operational Test Program Sets (OTPSs) to function on the Remotely Transportable-Consolidated Automated Support System. OTPSs are used to test the avionics on the V-22. Work will be performed in Philadelphia, Pa. (60%), and Fort Worth, Texas (40%), and is expected to be completed by December 2005. Contract funds in the amount of $1,500,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Air Systems Command, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-02-C-3125).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Electronic Sensors and Systems Sector, Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $5,448,552 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-99-C-1240) to exercise an option to modify three Consolidated Automated Support System electro-optics+ stations to incorporate the advanced targeting forward looking infrared testing capability, including design verification test and first article test. Work will be performed in Rolling Meadows, Ill., and is expected to be completed by August 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., Long Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $13,958,213 firm-fixed-price contract modification for award-fee earned for the fiscal year 2001 firm-fixed-price portion of this contract and Period 2 (April 2001 through September 2002) for performance of the C-17 flexible sustainment contract. At this time, the total amount of funds has been awarded. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-C-2002, P00039).

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $9,600,000 (not-to-exceed) firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for design, installation and support of a prototype passenger communication and data system on one C-32A aircraft. At this time, $4,800,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete June 2002. The contractor will perform this effort in Renton, Wash. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-01-D-0013-0007).

DME Corp., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $6,392,233 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for 13 Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) Kits for KC-135R aircraft and 22 RVSM Kits for the KC-135E aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete September 2002. The locations of performance are Innovative Solutions and Support Inc., Malvern, Pa. (85%), and other locations. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-99-C-0015, P00026).
