DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Valero Marketing and Supply Company, San Antonio, Texas, is being awarded a $94,715,612 fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract for 105,840,000 USG of JP8 and 10,584,000 USG of EM590 for the Government of Israel. Performance completion date is scheduled for December 1, 2002. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 14 proposals solicited and 3 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. (SP0600-02-D-0478)

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $15,007,208 cooperative agreement to provide for control of multi-mission unmanned air vehicles (UAV) systems program. This program will develop and demonstrate the key integrated vehicle control technologies required to enable combat UAVs to achieve reliability and mission effectiveness approaching that of manned systems, while maintaining a low total cost of ownership relative to manned systems. This effort will show the synergistic benefits of the integrated technologies and reduce the risk for application to combat UAVs. At this time, $50,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be complete April 2006. Solicitation was announced via Program Research and Development Announcement in April 2001, and four proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in November 2001. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-01-2-3152).

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $7,394,766 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for four weapon system trainers applicable to the T-38 aircraft. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by February 2004. The contractor will perform this effort at its facility at Williams Gateway Airport, Meza, Ariz. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-95-C-0057, P00112).

ARMY

GM GDLS Defense Group L.L.C. of Shelby Township, Mich., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $8,577,753 as part of an estimated face value $48,223,776 firm-fixed-price contract for ten Mobile Gun System Vehicles to include a one-time non-recurring charge. Work will be performed in at GM, Canada (32%); GDLS, Ohio, Michigan and Alabama (39%); and other various locations (29%) and is expected to be completed by Jan. 15, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web and 17 bids were received. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE0700-D-M051).

Trak International, Inc. of Port Washington, Wis., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $15,990,563.04 as part of a cumulative $133,127,247 requirements type firm-fixed-price contract for 134 All Terrain Lifter Army System (ATLAS) Rough Terrain Forklift Vehicle. Work will be performed in Port Washington, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Mar. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17 bids solicited on Nov. 17, 1994, and 2 bids received. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-95-D-R012).
