ARMY

DynCorp Technical Services, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $20,543,000 increment as part of a $158,347,202 (cumulative total) firm-fixed-price with cost reimbursable lines contract for C-12 and UC-35 aircraft life cycle support. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2003. Of the total contract funds, $20,443,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web on March 8, 2000, and two bids were received. The U.S. Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-00-C-0226).

ITT Federal Services International Corp., Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $12,717,095 cost-reimbursement-plus-award-fee contract for base operations services at U.S. Central Command facilities in Qatar. Services will include site security, base operation and maintenance, dining facility operations and administrative and logistical support. Work will be performed in Qatar and is expected to be completed by Jan. 22, 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. There were 26 bids solicited on Sept. 13, 2001, and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Transatlantic Programs, Winchester, Va., is the contracting activity (DACA78-02-C-008).

PEI Electronics Inc., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a delivery order amount of $6,734,451 as part of a firm-fixed-price contract for 119 embedded diagnostics personality system vehicle sets for M1A1 Abrams Integrated Management tank production, including various embedded diagnostics personality system spares to support provisioning and initial fielding. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by March 31, 2003. Of the total contract funds, $211,136 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAE20-98-G-0004).

NAVY

McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $9,500,000 modification to a previously awarded advanced acquisition contract (N00019-00-C-0363) to provide additional funding for long lead items necessary for the remanufacture of three AV-8B SR aircraft, modification kits and non-recurring expenditures for the government of Spain under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed in December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Trex Enterprises Corp., San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $6,205,106 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for research and development of the efforts required to develop advanced ferroelectric materials that will be used to develop phase shifters and the development of a radio frequency switch to better suit the needs of the warfighting community. Work will be performed in Kihei, Hawaii (50%), and Lihue, Hawaii (50%), and is expected to be completed by January 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic request for proposal with 26 proposals solicited and 12 offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00421-02-D-3090).

AIR FORCE

Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, Mass., is being awarded a $5,501,378 fixed-price-incentive-firm contract to provide for sensor fuzed weapons, full rate production seven and CBU-105B/B long lead materials. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be complete March 2004. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08635-02-C-0007).
