DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

General Electric/Aircraft Engine Business Group, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded a $25,579,960 firm fixed price contract for 1,240 After Burner Flame Holders for the U.S. Navy. Performance completion date is expected to be October 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was 1 proposal solicited and 1 responded. GE was the sole source of the product. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Richmond, Richmond, Va. (F3460100G0006)

ARMY

General Dynamics Land Systems Inc., Sterling Heights, Mich., was awarded a $17,118,551 modification on Feb. 7 to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (DAAE07-01-C-N-075) for system technical support for the Abrams tank program to include continuous electronic enhancement program (CEEP) authorization. Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on Nov. 23, 2001. The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity.

Advanced CounterMeasures Systems, Rancho Cordova, Calif., is being awarded a $9,500,000 firm-fixed-price-and-cost contract for labor, management, supervision, supplies, materials, equipment and tools to perform research, development, design and production services to support operational testing. Work will be performed in Rancho Cordova, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Sep. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole contract initiated on Dec. 17, 2001. The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Fort Hood, Texas, is the contracting activity (DATM01-02-D-0001).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co. (LMSS), Sunnyvale, Calif., is being awarded a $12,412,146 modification to previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract (N00030-01-C-0100) to exercise an option for the procurement of additional missile system hardware and/or requalification efforts based on the negotiated values for the hardware for the FY02 TRIDENT II (D5) Production and Deployed Systems Support contract. Work will be performed in Sunnyvale, Calif., and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C. is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

BAE Systems, Mojave, Calif., is being awarded an $8,763,894 contract modification to provide for 12 QF-4 full scale aerial targets. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by July 2004. The Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity (F08626-98-C-0012).

The Boeing Co., Seal Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $5,000,000 (not-to-exceed) contract modification to provide for initiation of follow-on modernization activities for the control segment supporting the Global Position System Satellite program. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. The location of performance are Boeing, Seal Beach, Calif. (30%), Computer Sciences Corp., Rockville, Md. (35%), and Lockheed Martin Federal Systems, Gaithersburg, Md. (35%). The Space and Missile Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-96-C-0025, P00169).
