ARMY

Washington Demilitarization Co., Boise, Idaho, is being awarded a $73,228,500 modification to a cost-plus-award-fee contract for chemical weapons demilitarization at Johnston Island. Work will be performed on Johnston Island and is to be completed by Sept. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Headquarters Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-96-C-0081).

NAVY

Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $5,719,000 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (N00019-00-C-0183) for long-term preservation and storage of 19 V-22 aircraft until Block "A" configuration changes, safe and operational fleet return to flight are developed and implemented on the aircraft prior to delivery. Work will be performed in Amarillo, Texas, and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

General Dynamics Defense Systems, Pittsfield, Mass., is being awarded a $5,639,046 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide for the fiscal year 2002 Nuclear Pwered Cruise Missile Submarine (SSGN)Attack Weapons Control System (AWCS). The effort includes management and engineering services to develop the preliminary proof of concept system design for AWCS, proof of concept system architecture design review and development of preliminary planning for fleet documentation. Work will be performed in Pittsfield, Mass., and is expected to be completed by December 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Navy's Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00030-02-C-0017).
