ARMY

United Defense LP, Santa Clara, Calif., is being awarded a $8,532,021 modification to a sole-source contract for providing systems technical support and logistics services in support of in-production and out-of-production of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System (BFVS), Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), Foreign Military Sales, and BFVS and MLRS Derivative Vehicles. Work will be performed in Santa Clara and is to be completed by Nov. 30, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole-source contract initiated on Dec. 28, 2000. The Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-01-C-M011).

Landmark Construction Corp., Copperas Cove, Texas is being awarded a $7,449,236 firm-fixed- price construction contract to construct a Fire Station and a Transportation Motor Pool. Work will be performed in Killeen, Texas and is to be completed by May 23, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 127 bids solicited on Oct. 26, 2001, and 14 bids were received. The U.S. Army Engineer District, Fort Worth, Texas is the contracting activity (DACA63-02-C-0005).

NAVY

Lockheed Martin Corp., Naval Electronics and Surveillance Systems, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $15,118,152 modification to previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option for the procurement of 16 USQ-78(V) upgrade retrofit kits for the P-3C aircraft upgrade III. Work will be performed in Manassas and is to be completed by August 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-00-C-0235).

American Bridge Co., Orlando, Fla., is being awarded an $11,298,623 task order under a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for construction of a single module aircraft maintenance hangar and associated aircraft and vehicle parking, and incidental related work at Naval Station, Norfolk, Va. Work will be performed in Norfolk and is expected to be completed by May 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured with 36 proposals solicited, 17 offers received and award made to multiple contractors on Sept. 28, 2001. The total contract amount is not to exceed $60,000,000, which includes the base period and three option years. The multiple contractors (seven in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Seven offers were received for this task order. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic Division, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity (N62470-01-D-1076).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing Co., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $398,429,823 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for 505,759,000 USG of JP8 Turbine Fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Beaumont and Baytown, Texas and Baton Rouge, La. Performance completion date is scheduled for March 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 294 proposals solicited and 24 responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Ft. LaGloria Oil & Gas Co., Pasadena, Texas is being awarded a $41,688,080 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for JP8 Jet Fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Tyler, Texas. The performance completion date is scheduled for March 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 294 proposals solicited and 24 responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0600-02-D-0486).

Pride Companies, L.P.*, Abilene, Texas is being awarded a $31,133,305 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment type contract for JP8 Jet Fuel for the Defense Energy Support Center. Work will also be performed in Grand Prarie, Dallas, and Fort Worth, Texas. The performance completion date is scheduled for March 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 294 proposals solicited and 24 responded. The Defense Energy Support Center, Fort Belvoir, Va. is the contracting activity (SP0600-02-D-0487).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Electronic Systems, Linthicum Heights, Md., is being awarded a $487,000,000 (maximum) firm-fixed-price, time and material and cost reimbursement no-fee contract to provide for engineering services and technical support of the F-16 AN and APG66 and 68 fire control radar for sustainment for a 23-year period. The program is known as FALCON 2020 Radar. At this time, no funds have been obligated. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, although actual requirements may necessitate less than the amount above. This effort supports foreign military sales to Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Bahrain, Turkey, Singapore, Portugal, Venezuela, Egypt, Greece, Taiwan, Korea, Jordan, and Israel. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah is the contracting activity (F42620-01-D-0076).

The Boeing Co., Canoga Park, Calif., is being awarded a $17,465,246 technology investment agreement to provide the Air Force Research Laboratory and Propulsion Directorate-West at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., with the required technologies that demonstrate a full-flow stages-combustion rocket engine. The program is focused on turbo-machinery and combustion device technologies that improve reliability, reduce hardware and operations costs and increase performance. The integrated Powerhead Demonstration Program provides significant risk reduction for future Air Force and National Aeronautics and Space Administration upper stage and booster rocket engine systems. At this time, $500,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed in January 2004. Solicitation began in October 2001 and negotiations were completed in February 2002. The Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04611-02-2-2003).

TRW Systems, Bellevue, Neb., is being awarded a $14,753,277 cost-plus-award-fee contract to provide for the Air Force weather weapon system. This includes systems engineering, systems management, program management, system sustainment, and transition. At this time, no funds have been obligated. The scheduled contract delivery date is September 2002, and is extended via options through September 2007. There were 54 firms solicited in May 2001, and three proposals were received. Negotiations were completed in February 2002. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity (F25600-02-D-0004).

Woodward FST, Inc., Zeeland, Mich., is being awarded a $6,635,200 (estimated) firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for repair of TF-33 fuel manifolds applicable to the B-52H, KC-135, and E-3C aircraft. At this time, no funds have been obligated. This is a requirements contract for one-year with four one-year options. The best estimated quantities for option II is 319. Initial delivery will commence 84 days after receipt of order and reparables, and proceed at the follow rate for option I. The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., is the contracting activity (F34601-00-D-0120, P00007).

TRW Inc., Space and Electronics Group, Redondo Beach, Calif., is being awarded a $5,380,526 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for program definition and risk reduction special study efforts for the space-based infrared system low program. At this time no funds have been obligated. This work will be completed in April 2002. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-99-C-0047, P00038).
