DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Bergen Brunswig Drug Company, Orange, Ca., is being awarded a $50,000,000 firm-fixed-price type contract with requirements for various pharmaceutical items for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps for the heartland region. This contract is exercising its second year option and includes a 20-month period. The performance completion date is scheduled for Nov. 22, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There had been originally 72 proposals solicited and six had responded. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (SP0200-99-D-7025).

Foster Miller Incorporated*, Waltham, Mass., is being awarded a $6,971,507 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity type contract for supplemental armor for C-130 aircraft for the U.S. Air Force. This contract is a base year contract with option provisions for up to four additional years. This is a part numbered item and no other company produces the product, therefore, only one proposal was solicited and one was received. Performance completion date is expected to be March 17, 2003. Contract funds will expire this current fiscal year. The Defense Supply Center Richmond, Va., is the contracting activity (SP0470-02-D-0393).

AIR FORCE

General Dynamics Government Systems Corp., Thousand Oaks, Calif., is being awarded a $24,999,850 cost-plus-award-fee contract modification to the imagery exploitation support system contract to establish contract line item 0027 and 0028, increase the level of effort for contract line item number 0001, and extend the current contract through December 2002 in order to allow for development of major enhancements to support requirements for the national and tactical communities. Additionally this will provide support for central and site maintenance. At this time, no funds have been obligated. The Air Force Research and Laboratory, Rome, N.Y. is the contracting activity (F40602-96-C-0195, P00091).

Northrop Grumman Corp., Melbourne, Fla., is being awarded a $16,422,306 (not-to-exceed) contract modification to provide for increase in long lead aircraft production funding for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System Lot X aircraft (P16). At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-01-C-0015, P00006).

Systems and Electronic Inc., St Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $9,420,426 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for Tunner Reliability Support Plan (TRSP) applicable to the 60K Loader (Tunner) program. The TRSP is a three part integrated plan consisting of logistics support, increase in the reliability of the Tunner, and risk mitigation throughout durability testing. This action is the implementation of Modification L, a part of the Reliability Growth Project portion of TRSP. At this time, the total amount of funds has been obligated. This work will be completed June 2003. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Robins Air Force Base, Ga., is the contracting activity (F09603-99-D-0166-0011).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $6,037,837 cost-plus-award fee contract modification to provide for the Theater Battle Management Core Systems program. This program provides force and unit-level commanders an automated command, control and intelligence capability that greatly improves the joint forces air campaigns and commander's ability to plan and execute theater air campaigns and operation. At this time, $5,137,720 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed September 2002. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-95-C-0143, P00328).
