The Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., was awarded a $770,000,000 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-00-C-0183) to expend long lead-time effort and materials associated with the manufacture and delivery of 11 fiscal year 2003 Lot VII MV-22 low-rate initial production tiltrotor aircraft. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (35 percent); and Amarillo, Texas (15 percent), and is to be completed by August 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, is the contracting activity.
Northrop-Grumman Systems Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $8,353,734 cost reimbursement and cost-plus fixed-fee contract modification to provide for electronic systems test set program cost growth development and additional effort necessary to bring the system development effort to successful completion. Additional work includes accomplishment of the station provisioning data, installation, checkout and training, extension and expansion of the user trails, and Phase II User Trails.
