NAVY

Wilcox Industries Corp., Pease International Tradeport, Portsmouth, N.H., is being awarded a $49,036,961 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract for M203 Grenade Launchers with day/night sight mounts. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, N.H., and is expected to be completed by March 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contract was competitively procured and advertised on the Internet with three offers received. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane Ind., is the contracting activity (N00164-02-D-8511).

Titan Systems Corp., Mount Laurel, N.J., is being awarded a maximum total $40,294,868 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract for technical engineering support services for the EA-6B. Work will be performed in Point Mugu, Calif. (85 percent); Patuxent River, Md. (five percent); Jacksonville, Fla. (five percent); and Whidbey Island, Wash. (five percent), and is to be completed by March 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by electronic request for proposals with two offers received. The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, is the contracting activity (N68936-02-D-0016).

The Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River, Md., is being awarded an estimated not-to-exceed $37,620,000 modification to a previously awarded advance acquisition contract (N00019-00-C-0183) for the procurement of production parts for the Block A upgrade of 20 V-22 aircraft. Work will be performed in Ridley Park, Pa. (50 percent); Fort Worth, Texas (35 percent); and Amarillo, Texas (15 percent), and is to be completed by October 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, is the contracting activity.

Boeing Electron Dynamic Devices, Torrance, Calif., is being awarded an $11,885,760 ceiling-priced delivery order under a basic ordering agreement for repair of spare F-14 electron tubes that are used in the AWG9 and APG71 radar of the F-14 aircraft. Work will be performed in Torrance and is to be completed by March 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. This delivery order was not competitively procured. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (N00383-98-G-016F) (Order 7010).

AIR FORCE

Northrop Grumman Corp., Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $19,281,737 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for AN and ALQ-135 Band 1.5 internal countermeasures production Lot III-Plus, applicable to the F-15 aircraft. The work is to be completed December 2002. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33657-98/C-0037, P00036).

ARMY

Alliant Ammunition Systems, Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant, St. Paul, Minn., is being awarded a $15,262,161.80 firm-fixed-price option contract for 1,477,460 PGU-15/B 30 mm target practice cartridges. Work will be performed at Radford Army Ammunition Plant, Radford, Va., and is to be completed by Oct. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAAA09-01-C-0013).

Strand Hunt Construction, Inc., of Kirkland, Wash., is being awarded a $5,849,545 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of C-17 extended nose docks at McChord Air Force Base, Wash. Work will be performed at McChord Air Force Base, Wash., and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web on Jan. 15, 2002, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, Seattle, is the contracting activity (DACA67-02-C-0205).

General Dynamics Government Systems Corporation of Taunton, Mass., is being awarded a $12,044,483.47 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract (with a cumulative total of $709,610,124.24) for common hardware and software items for Project Manager, Army Tactical Command and Control Systems (PM, ATCCS) computers and associated peripherals for battlefield commanders. Work will be completed in Taunton, and is to be completed by April 10, 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 50 bids solicited on April 21, 1994 and three bids received. The U.S. Army Communications - Electronics Command Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity (DAAB07-94-C-N853).

Western Construction, Inc., of Boise, Idaho, is being awarded a $15,209,895 firm-fixed-price contract for repairs to aircraft parking apron and runway at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. Work will be performed at Mountain Home Air Force Base and is to be completed by Nov. 1, 2002. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Bids were solicited on the World Wide Web on Feb. 8, 2002 and five bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is the contracting activity (DACA67-02-C-0207).

Blacksmith Management Group of Salt Lake City, is being awarded a $8,792,892 firm-fixed-price-incentive contract with a cumulative total of $9,644,390 for design and construction of an aircraft hydraulic and pneudraulic repair facility at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The two-level new building will have approximately 4877 square meters under its roof. Rooms and spaces will include assembly repair, blasting and grinding, break room, electrical room, disassembly, lapping, non-destructive inspection, painting, part washers, shipping and receiving, assembly and test stand, communications room, equipment support center, generator, local hydraulic, network computer, noisy test, offices, servo/manifold and valves, and other support spaces. Also included will be underground electrical distribution lines. Work will be performed at Hill Air Force Base and is to be completed by March 26, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 40 bids solicited on Dec. 28, 2001, and three bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, Louisville, Ky., is the contracting activity (DACA27-02-C-0007).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

DEL Medical Imaging Corporation, Franklin Park, Ill., is being awarded an estimated annual maximum of $5,000,000 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment with indefinite quantity and delivery type contract for sub-systems or components for imaging systems for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and for federal civilian agencies. This is a one-year base contract with four one-year options. The performance completion date is scheduled for Feb.11, 2003. Contract funds will not expire by the end of the current fiscal year. There were 119 proposals solicited and 36 responded. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, (SP0200-02-D-8332).
