AIR FORCE

URS Group Inc., Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $45,000,000 (maximum) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for architect-engineer services for architectural and planning services. The work will primarily pertain to military family housing, force protection, commercial facilities and infrastructures. Requirements may include schematic designs, design charrettes, existing building conditions plans, preparation of cost estimating, landscape and irrigation design, construction management and inspection, submittal reviews, site visits, preparation of as-built drawings, preparing, visiting and editing Air Force Civil Engineer publications, design guides, handbooks and tutorials, interior design, project programming and Requirements and Management Plans interior space utilization planning studies and analyses, surveys and reports including geotechnical, topographic, environmental and hazardous material (asbestos, lead-based paint, etc.) and facility condition/utilization assessments/analysis. Further funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can issue delivery orders totaling up to the maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than the above amount. Solicitation began February 2002, and 16 proposals were received. Negotiations were completed April 2002. The 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks Air Force Base, Texas, is the contracting activity (F41622-02-D-0014).

RIM Architects Inc., Honolulu, Hawaii, is being awarded a $45,000,000 (maximum) firm-fixed-price contract to provide for Architect-Engineer Services for Architectural and planning services. ARMY

Honeywell Inc., Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded a $11,641,706 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract with a cumulative total of $15,318,980 for incorporation of engineering change proposal (ECP) 01-H-0005R3, control and display subsystem, Version 4 (CDS4) Phase IIB digitization modifications. Work will be performed in New Mexico and is to be completed by Sept. 30, 2003. Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract. The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (DAAH23-01-C-0054).
