ARMY

GM GDLS Defense Group, L.L.C., Shelby Township, Mich., was awarded a $88,868,000 cost-plus award-fee, firm-fixed-price contract for interim contractor logistics support to the Stryker Interim Armored Vehicle family and to maintain fleet of vehicles at 98 percent and 90 percent operational readiness rate. Work will be performed in Fort Lewis, Wash. (80 percent) and Auburn, Wash., (20 percent), and is to be completed by May 12, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole-source contract initiated in January 2002. The U. S. Army Tank and Automotive Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (DAAE07-02-C-B001).

On May 10, 2002, AECOM Government Services, Inc., Orange, Calif., was awarded a $621,051 phase-in to a cost-plus award-fee contract for whole base operations. Work will be performed in Fort Polk, La., and is to be completed by Feb. 29, 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 29, 2001, and three bids were received. The U. S. Army Forces Command, Fort McPherson, Ga. is the contracting activity (DAKF11-02-C-0003).

On April 11, 2002, Ideker, Inc., St. Joseph, Mo., was awarded a $6,790,401 firm-fixed-price contract to upgrade the aircraft parking apron, phase II. Work will be performed in St. Joseph, and is to be completed by Oct. 6, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the end of the current fiscal year. There were an unknown number of bids solicited via the World Wide Web on Jan. 2, 2002, and five bids were received. The U.S. Property Fiscal Officer for Missouri, Jefferson City, Mo., is the contracting activity, (DAHA23-02-C-0003).

DEFENSE INFORMATION SYSTEMS AGENCY

NCR Government Systems Corp., Rockville, Md., is being awarded an indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract, that allows for the issuance of firm fixed price and time-and-materials orders. The minimum guarantee of $8,000,000 is being obligated with the award and the maximum amount that can be obligated is $150,000,000 over a three-year base period and three one-year options. This is a single award in support of the Defense Commissary Agency (DECA) Point of Sale Technology Refresh program, that provides for sustainment and replacement of the current Point of Sale baseline system capabilities to extend the system life six years and for support services. This was a full and open competitive acquisition. The Request for Proposal was posted on the World Wide Web; one proposal was received. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, (DITCO), Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is the contracting activity DCA200-02-D-5019.

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Sysco of Seatle, Kent, Wash., is being awarded a $10,000,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity and delivery-type contract for prime vendor full line food distributor to the U.S. Navy at Puget Sound Saval Station. This contract is exercising its fourth year option. Performance completion date is scheduled for May 11, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, (SP0300-02-D-2951).

Sysco of Seatle, Kent, Wash., is being awarded a $5,000,000 firm-fixed-price with indefinite-quantity and delivery-type contract for prime vendor full line food distributor to the U.S. Navy at Puget Sound Saval Station. AIR FORCE

Raytheon Co., St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded an $11,718,656 firm-fixed-price contract modification to provide for execution of priced option for 119 Airborne Integrated Terminal Groups consisting of airborne integrated terminals, remote control units, mounting and cooling assembly trays, low noise amplifiers and diplexers for ultra-frequency military satellite communications terminal program. At this time, $11,718,656 of the funds has been obligated. Initial delivery will occur 12 months after contract award at the rate of 15 terminals per month until completion. Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. is the contracting activity (F19628-98-C-0046/P00054).

NAVY

General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), Lynn, Mass., is being issued an estimated $6,719,549 modification to a previously awarded commercial requirements contract for procurement of an estimated 21,944 items supporting the F404 engine in F/A-18 aircraft. These items include low-pressure turbine forward seals, fan turbine shafts, and compressor vanes. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass, and is expected to be completed by December 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (N00393-00-D-004M) (MOD P00009).
