NAVY

Bath Iron Works, a unit of General Dynamics, Bath, Maine, is being awarded a $409,117,056 fixed-price-incentive modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-2303) to provide funding for fiscal year 2003 multi-year ship requirements (DDG 106) and the advance procurement of fiscal year 2004-2005 multi-year ships. Work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is to be completed by July 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Ship Systems Inc. (formerly Ingalls Shipbuilding Inc), Pascagoula, Miss., is being awarded a $401,590,928 fixed-price-incentive modification to a previously awarded multiyear contract (N00024-02-C-2304) to provide funding for fiscal year 2003 multi-year ship requirements (DDG 105) and the advance procurement of fiscal year 2004-2005 multi-year ships. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss, and is scheduled to be completed by June 2008. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Textron Marine and Land Systems, New Orleans, La., is being awarded a $63,118,800 fixed-price-incentive contract for the Landing Craft Air Cushion Service Life Extension Program of five craft. The contract also provides for installation of craft alterations, repair/refurbishment of government-furnished property, engineering services and spare parts. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the total cumulative value of this contract to $111,426,772. Work will be performed in New Orleans, and is to be completed by July 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-03-C-2200).

Lockheed Martin Corp., Naval Electronics & Surveillance System-Syracuse, Syracuse, N.Y., is being awarded a $32,088,167 firm-fixed-price modification under previously awarded contract (N00024-02-C-6313) to exercise options for the AN/SQQ-89A (V) 15 Forward Fit Ship System, installation material and AN/SQQ-89 (V) 15 (V) Superset Upgrade Kit (CSEDS), but less the AN/SQS-53C (V) Transducer Array Subsystem. The AN/SQQ-89 (V) Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Combat System provides an integrated capability for undersea warfare combat management, fire control, command and control and in-board-training to enable surface ships to detect, classify, localize, track and engage hostile targets in both littoral and open ocean tactical. Work will be performed in Americus, Ga. (30%); Eagan, Minn. (25%); Johnstown, Pa. (25%); and Syracuse, N.Y. (20%), and is to be completed by June 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This modification combines support of the U.S. Navy (69%) and the government of Japan (31%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Solpac Inc., doing business as Soltek Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded $24,340,000 for Task Order 0006 under a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for design and construction of a bachelor enlisted quarters at Naval Station Bremerton. Work will be performed in Bremerton, Wash., and is to be completed by January 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website, with 11 offers received and award made on March 29, 2002. The total contract amount for each contractor is not to exceed $150,000,000 (base period and four option years), bringing the cumulative total for all four contracts to $600,000,000. The multiple contractors (four in number) may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the existing contract. Four offers were received for this task order. The Engineering Field Activity, Northwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Poulsbo, Wash., is the contracting activity (N68711-02-D-8013).

Rolls-Royce Corp., Indianapolis, Ind., is being awarded a $21,500,000 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract (N00019-98-C-0122) for the procurement of 10 spare T56-A-427 turboprop engines for the E-2C aircraft. Work will be performed in Indianapolis, Ind., and is to be completed in December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Solpac Inc., doing business as Soltek Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded $15,998,556 for Task Order 0007 under a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award construction contract for the design and construction of a bachelor enlisted quarters at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms. Work will be performed in Twentynine Palms, Calif., and is to be completed by March 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The basic contract was competitively procured via the NAVFAC e-solicitation website, with 11 offers received and award made on March 29, 2002. The total contract amount for each contractor is not to exceed $150,000,000 (base period and four option years), bringing the cumulative total for all four contracts to $600,000,000.
