ARMY

Weis Builders Inc., Minneapolis, on Jan. 2, 2003, was awarded a delivery order amount of $38,545,526 as part of a $350,000,000 firm-fixed-price contract for replacement of family housing. Work will be performed at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., and is to be completed by August 23, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 170 bids solicited on July 9, 2002, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha, Neb., is the contracting activity (DACA45-03-D-0006).

National Forge Co., Irvine, Pa., was awarded a $6,720,135 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 790 BLU-109/B empty cases and CNU-417 containers on Dec. 31, 2002,. Work will be performed in Irvine, Pa., and is o be completed by Dec. 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Dec. 23, 2002. The U.S. Army Operations Support Command, Rock Island, Ill., is the contracting activity (DAA09-01-C-0049).

MW-All Star Joint Venture, Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., was awarded a delivery order amount of $11,827,298 as part of a $22,047,488 firm-fixed-price contract for consolidated Army family housing maintenance services on Dec. 31, 2002,. Work will be performed in Honolulu (15 percent) and Schofield, Hawaii (85 percent), and is to be completed by Dec. 31, 2004. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 33 bids solicited on July 23, 2002, and six bids were received. The U.S. Army Directorate of Contracting, Fort Shafter, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (DABQ06-03-D-0003).

3001 Inc., New Orleans, was awarded a $200,000 increment as part of a $10,839,436 firm-fixed-price contract for surveying and training on Dec. 30, 2002. Work will be performed at the Mississippi River from Mile 324 above head of passes to the Gulf of Mexico, and is to be completed by Jan. 6, 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was a sole-source contract initiated on Oct. 26, 2001. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans is the contracting activity (DACW29-02-C-0025).

NAVY

Northrop Grumman Corp., Integrated System Sector, Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $38,059,209 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-03-C-0015) for the production of 15 wing center sections for the EA-6B aircraft. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (81 percent) and St. Augustine, Fla. (19 percent), and is to be completed in February 2005. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, Ohio, is being awarded a $15,900,000 indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract to provide for quick reaction research and development capability to the Air Force ranging from field level support to materials transition. The program will investigate materials and processes related issues ranging from the development phase to the production and operational phases of advanced and aging aerospace systems. Funds will be obligated as individual delivery orders are issued. The Air Force can award delivery orders totaling up to the program maximum amount indicated above, though actual requirements may necessitate less than that amount. The locations of performance are Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio (96%) and University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, Ohio (4%). At this time, $405,000 of the funds has been obligated. This work will be completed by December 2008. Solicitation began October 2002 and Negotiations were completed December 2002. The Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-02-D-5607).

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Allegiance Healthcare Corp., McGaw Park, Ill. was awarded a $16,491,292 fixed-price with economic-price adjustment with indefinite-quantity delivery type of contract for selection of a distributor for the Laboratory Integrated Delivery System (LIDS) Program for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies within the 48 contiguous states (including the District of Columbia), Alaska and Hawaii on Jan. 6, 2003. This contract is exercising its fourth year option. The performance completion date is expected to be December 31, 2003. Contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This was an internet solicitation. The contracting activity is the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (SP0200-99-D-7303).
